  1. OK, Guys !! (and Girls ??!?) By popular request, here is the full project, with all the images... Be careful, the file size is approx. 8MB !! You'll be warned ! Enjoy, and do whatever you want with it !! I don't ask for anything, except if you show the picture as yours, which, i'm sure, nobody would have thought by the way ! Link to the file : Voeux 2005 Thanks, Regards, Laurent aka tartiflette :-))
  2. Thans a lot for the nice comments ! The image was made in about a week from the first idea to the completion, working on it for about 3 hours a day... The final rendering took 10 hours on my PowerBook G4 1,5 Ghz, with 49 pass (!!!!)... I wish I had a fast PC to render it, and to see waht would have been the render times ! For those who are interested, there is no radiosity at all, and only three lights, two of them casting shadows... But, i like soft ratraced shadows too much, and that's why the render times where so high !! By the way, I will probably do a zip file of the project, so that those who are curious about this picture can see how it is made... The next step will be the resesarch of better render times, as i fairly new to the soft, and don't really know how to setup the scene for maximum speed... By the way, enough talk, and let's do the animation i had in mind for this project ! Thanks, Regards, Laurent aka Tartiflette :-))
  3. Hello Girls and Boys ! Just a little picture to wish an happy new year to all of you, and to send a greetings card to my friends !
