  1. I bought a USB numeric pad and haven't had any problems what-so-ever; no setting up needed, I just plug it in a go. It's a Swann Multi Keypad which cost me about £22 at the time and comes with the addition of two extra USB ports which can be handy. Unfortunately, I see Amazon don't sell it anymore (they say it's either out of stock or discontinued) and in my quick search I couldn't find another reseller that has it. Here's the manufacturer's information on it: http://www.swann.com.au/show_item.php?item=15 The multimedia key is useless though as I have to put ten tonnes of pressure on it for it to work. I hope this information helps in some way and that it's not too difficult to find. Steven.
  2. I've still not put anything together web-wise for people to have a look at. I meant to do something many moons ago, but I've just not got around to it. I'll try to sort out a website soon which I'll post a link to here. Steve.
  3. Hi Paul, Nice site and nice logos. My favourite one is the green version of BA:M (a fab group name). I'm not too sure about 'British Animation Monsters' though - I'm glad I'm not in that photo with that name stuck on the side It's great to read a summary of the meeting and I'll try to get to one in the future. Interesting information links as well. Thanks for your efforts, Steven.
  4. Five British A:M users in one place? Now there's a rarity; the record stood at three for a long time. I'm sorry I couldn't make it six, but I'll try to get to the next one. Steve (the underfunded one)
  5. Hi John, Mighty fine bass lines there. Nice logo as well; have you thought of modelling and animating that chap? The gig is not too far from me but I'm hampered by a lack of funds and time so I'm afraid I'll have to pass on that. I'll not be able to get to the meeting as well for the same reasons. [sigh] Steve.
  6. I'd be interested in going to one, but not if it costs an arm and a leg. I can't see the point in shelling out a huge wodge of dosh for what would just be a user group meeting. All we need is a room with cheap grub available just round the corner. It could even be in a pub seeing as there's a handful of peeps interested. Does it have to be in London? I've not enjoyed one trip there, mainly because of transportation problems. I know London forms part of the user group name, but couldn't we just change it to EAMU (to sound like the rather big bird) which stands for 'English Animation:Master Users' as there aren't too many of us? I bet I find someone else already has dibs on that name It has loads of potential for a group logo. Just some musings, Steve.
  7. I've only just noticed this topic. I live near London so I could pop along to some meetings, but I'm a tad busy right now so I might have to pass on this one coming up. Steve.
