  2. HEy Dan I don't mean to carry this on but... How thick is the blade??? is it just simple extrusions or does it have any depth or thickness.. (I'm trying to find the words to describe, I hope you understand )..... from the side view the blade looks flat....... like you took some point's and extruded them.. is that the case or.....?????

    You should think about sharing the model.......... come on.......... it would be fun....... :lol:

    I want to see more action characters and martial art stuff with that cartoon caricature style. U-NO?

     

    Not to say the other stuff is no good its just that its not as balanced with the other stuff you see

  5. I think it looks good and it does have that pixar look

    if you look at the bonus dvd and look at the "universal man" section of the dvd it looks very similar to that.

     

    I like..... and the ears have that pixar ear look to it........ maybe you can post a tutorial on how you got this look (I might be the only one interested because it seems like everyone else knows how to model something simular but.)

    cause it looks coo...

  6. I'm still new to this so sorry if my response and question is a little vague but was wondering as far as rendering: the quality seems to have a greater look then what I've seen most do! (basically it looks really great) what did you guys do to achieve it.

     

    and the background in the picture that mike summitted (with what looks like to be mountains and a plane and clouds) are they 3d elements or painted pictures our photographs.

  7. I know this may seem lame but what if someone made a video exercise of the cooper tutorial..........

     

    Maaaaaaaaaaaannnn that would be so benificial to me... I've learned so much better when I can watch a do at the same time.....

  8. I tried to post this a couple of days ago but I must of did something wrong but anyway, I have an Idea about Hash creating a 3D paint software like bodypaint but particularly with Hash animation master. a software that is compatible with painter and photoshop etc. that would be real tight

    call it something like

     

    Hash Paint 3D!!!

    or something..... what do you guys think!!!

     

    (it might be lame but its an Idea!!)

I cant model that well and im wondering is it because i can't draw that well or is it that spline modelling is really hard!!! can anyone help me?!?! modelling even a simple character that i created from paper and loaded it in (front and side view rotoscopes) still, i cant model for anything

     

    I need some knowledge and insight!

     

    p.s. is modelling with polygons harder than spline modelling or is it the other way around!

    also there is a new modelling software called silo- ive seen some interesting work with it!

  10. I was wondering if anyone know's how to get the models used in Animation Mentor

    like mr. ball? the one character that shaun freeman used in his recent animation!

    I would really like to know? for that matter I would like to know if there are other places to get models for free! (besides the animation master models from various sites).

  11. does anyone have a tutorial on creating characters like the huntress and avalanche's marvel characters( like the ones in the spotlight web page) or characters like the mortal kombat deception game! ( if you're into fighting games you must see this game) if so could someone be kind enough to post them...

     

    I really would like to create characters like these in this software.

     

    maybe that could be a tutorial that could go on the regular hash website

    you know, in the video tutorials.

    that would be real tight

  13. Hello I'm a new user I've been using Animation Master for about two months but i've been a huge fan for about two years.. i was wondering if anyone on this board can produce charecters like Marvel superheroes to heavy armored knights to Orcs or fantasy characters...........

     

    I haven't been quite confident yet, in creating charecters like these, because I really haven't seen it done. well.... done well. but if someone can convince me i would really appreciat the help... :)
