  1. There's old order and new order. New order can use electricity, cell phones, various tech, as long as it's on a prepaid basis. They can't owe outsiders. That's why they have their own banks. Of course, there aren't only Amish here. I figured with five colleges in this county and enough farmland to supply them all with weed, there'd be a few people interested in cartoons and movies. Does O state not have computers? What's going on here?

  2. The word onanism was formerly used as a synonym because it was linked to a Biblical story (Genesis 38:7-9) in which a man called Onan "spilled his seed upon the ground" to avoid impregnating his dead brother's wife (see levirate marriage) and, because "the thing which he did displeased the Lord", Onan was killed.

Lately, I noticed that every time I read in this forum GOD goes on a killing spree :( I don't think I can handle the pressure of animation. Who are we to decide who's time it is!?

  3. Great job so far! But this may be one of those situations where you have to put all the high res parts in seperate files and have low res versions of the whole body for long shots. good luck! I'm looking forward to the decaled renders ;)

  4. Thanks for the tips, link and moral support :) I was getting more frustrated with the writing than my second class splineing :P So naturally it's the first thing they ask me to do in the book that introduced me to A:M.

Select a simple premise, and develop a brief storyline from it... Is your premise10 words or less?  Is the premise one you, personally, can believe in?  Can your character fulfill the premise? Is your conflict one that will expose the character more fully, or force the character to grow? Does the story provide for interesting transitions that will hold your audience's attention? Does the end of the story follow naturally from the character's growth or exposition, and does it fulfill the premise?
 And I thought Animating would be the hard part ;)
  5. Hey guys :)

Right now I'm still working on tutorials, but I want to have a story ready by the time I'm ready to do some real animating. The problem is, I can't seem to come up with any ideas :(

How do you guys do it?
