A good start....some sort of '50's detective, maybe?

On my machine, the dictionary is at the following location:
C:/Program Files/Hash Inc/V11.0/Dictionary
It's a text file.
Hope this helps.

Great effect.

So how much was it and where you find it
What was the best tutorial in it
And what is cover in just animation
will it cover building the model for animation
Maleman,
You can find it here: Jeff Lew's Website
If you go for the "video on demand", you can buy it in three parts.
It doesn't cover modelling, but does cover character set-up.

Thanks, Paul
I decided to go for it and it works fine.
The tuition on this DVD is awesome!

I see from Jeff's site that this can be bought as "Video on Demand" in three separate parts.
Has anyone purchased it this way? Is it trouble free?
Thanks

Actually, ignore that....they've put it in "Cameras and Photo" as well as "Electronics Software". For some reason, their search engine directed me to the "Cameras and Photo" section.
Oh well, being in two parts of the site is better than just being in one.

I notice Amazon have put A:M in the "Cameras and Photo" section of the store, and not in "Electronics Software".
Perhaps someone should tell them?

Good job. I like his glowing eyes. Like to see a wireframe.

Done.

Looks good, Zack.
I play a Les Paul myself, but the strat is a classic.

Looks great, and very comfortable!
Good luck with the competition, Xtaz.

Yes, she does look very "Simon Bisley"-ish.
Joe has done a fantastic job with modelling her.

I wonder if there is any way to download the movies?
You can't download from A:M Films.
But I downloaded the Hunter Test to my hard drive from somewhere else, so maybe an Internet search will help you.

I agree about the brightness....what you want is an eerie glow.
Good work.

She's an amazing model.
Congratulations Mr Williamsen.

Frank, this just looks fantastic!
I assume you are planning an animation based in this town?

Importing Victoria into A:M is going to cause you more trouble than it's worth.
There are so many poly's on the model, that it isn't going to be viable to animate, plus when A:M tries to convert those poly's to splines, you will end up with thousands more than are necessary.
My advice: model something with A:M if you're going to use it in A:M. One exception to this may be Zbrush, which does seem compatible, or so I've read.

Great modelling, MATrickz.

Dan,
These shots look really good. That shot looking down on the buildings reminds me of the opening to Blade Runner.
Good work.
Rodney, I'm sure most A:M users played with action figures when they were kids...we're still doing it now, only with a computer. I never had any Star Wars figs (although I loved the movies)...Action Man and Micronauts were more my thing.

And lastly, am I the only one that noticed that Adam has published several books? I gotta know what they are.
Thanks, Wade
My books are all Westerns (strange thing for an Englishman to write, I guess)
The titles are "Ghost Dance", "Black River" and "Bass Reeves". They are available in the US as large-print versions only.
If I ever do get this modelling stuff down, I intend to make a short based on "Ghost Dance".
cheers

Rodney,
I'm not asking anyone to model my characters (although if someone wants to, that's fine! ).
I was replying to a post in the Trading Models thread where I was asked what I wanted to model. These characters (and a few others) are the answer.
If anyone out there is interested in splining up these characters, then I shall have to take a long hard look at my skill base for something to barter with.
I like your idea of a Creators' Corner.

I was wondering the same thing about the robot.
And if the bear decides to scratch his back against that tree......there's gonna be lots of nuts and bolts flying around.
Anyway, good work.
