  1. I'm getting these weird artifacts when I try and render the image out with Depth of Field. Notice the two sacs in the back are blurred but have a black line near the edge. Also, i tried rendering out another image with Depth of Field and a volumetric light in the foreground. Everything was blurred except the part of the image that was behind the volumetrics.... Any ideas why? Using Pentium 4, 512 RAM, 2.56 Ghz and AM 10.5... Thanks for any help!
  2. Hey, I rendered out this image and it is doing all kinds of weird stuff. Notice the splines over everything. As far as I know I didn't tell it to render out the splines. I just wanted a final image with no splines showing. Any idea why it is rendering this way? Also, I rendered out an earlier one with a volumetric light focused on the guys upper body and the background out of focus. It rendered everything behind the volumeric light in sharp focus and wherever the beam ended it had the correct depth of field...any ideas why? I may post an image of that if my explanation is too confusing. Any feedback/ideas would be helpful. I am working on it right now so if you read this and have an idea please post now... Thanks!!!!
  3. Just watched the latest clip. Looks better! I don't remember the first clip in that much detail but I can definitely tell a difference. I really like the secondary motion you have on his antennae, very natural looking. Keep it up. Cant wait to see more!
  4. Very Cool! I like the animation so far. What if you had him turn the second dial up to 10, pause, look back at it and then kick it up to 11. It might break up the pacing a little and give the viewer a chance to catch on. Just a thought. Looks good so far!
