  1. Ok when i might go to side view weird things happen when ill grab a bone sonetimes, like just now i went to side view and tried to push the door in from side view and all i did was grabbed the whole door with me and it was dragged out of the door frame completely??

  2. Ok, i downloaded the data file and extracted it to c:/program files/hash inc./data and it just made a whole data file in it, none of the regular items showed up. and i have v13 so would that work too to put it in?

     

     

    EDIT: AH, NEVERMIND I GOT IT WOOT, EXTRACTED INTO DATA FILE NOT replace data file

Ok so i subscribed to version 15 for 50 bucks, but then i got version 15, put the activation code in and tried to run animation master, but strangeley, a lot didnt show up, a lot of actions werent there, a lot of folders werent even there in the library under models, there was no props folder a lot others, ill get a pic

  4. Ya, i see what you mean, so throw away that getting a new Cd thing, i might just hope to find that CD (darn movers) i bet you know how i feel rodney with moving. or i can just get the subscription for 50 bucks a year, easy.

  5. oh so your suggesting i should just get version 15 subscription for about 3-4 $ a month??? if i actually have lost my cd?

     

    maybe i just should subscrible becuause i get an allowance a month and i guess i could use 4/125 of it a month? lol

  6. This is a what if situation, cause i got version 13 for christmas, but then i moved about a month ago and so far i havnt found it, so WHAT IF i lost it? and i dont think i have subscription because i cant run without a cd

     

    i do though, have the original tutorial book with a few numbers in the very front for something, i forgot what i was though, something for installation?

  7. Hey, i was wondering, if i possibly might have lost my cd, just in case, because i moved a little while ago.

     

    But if i happen to lose my cd, is there a way to get another one or something?

  8. OK, so i am having lots of trouble animating sometimes. Sometimes i just try too hard maybe, but how are people suppose to animate.

     

    #1 The problems im talking about is like, how do you get your character to do all sorts of actions like walking and talking with hand gestures, or like running and jumping. Just all sorts of actions, maybe a bit like combining two actions.?? could any of you tell me how to animate like that?

     

    #2. Also a problem i have is kinda stange and i dont know how it happens. When im animating an action, sometimes its really messed up like for a jump for example. ( like a large action, my guy will run, and then maybe turn to the side WHILE RUNNING, and wave . so hes running for like 5 seconds, and then turns his torso a bit and looks at the screen and waves. The problem i get is he will run but at the very beginning he will turn and wave instead of waiting 5 seconds, how do i get stuff like that to work.

  9. Hey, I havnt been able to be using AM for a long time because of homework problems, and ive been trying to get it back up. anyways, Im needing a bit of help. For example, when someones jumping, how do you make them look like thir really jumping up fast like in AM movies that have been made. I cant get the quick and cool movements in the characters when im making an animation in the choreography

  10. ok so i have a big problem. im making a face with using a guide, and im making the nostril. to the side of the nostril there is a area thats opened and isnt patched up. it is 5 points in the area, but i dont understand what the 5-point patch is and where it is. i used th patch group mode because i thought that was it, but i guess not.

    alright so im guessing this is the best way, alright then, when i have trouble with this way though, ill ask question, and about that other way copying keyframe 0, i tried that and it didnt work. i tried it on 9.13 frame, so i copied frame o and pasted on frame 9.13 but it didnt work. does it have to be on a frame like 1.00 or 2.00 or 3.00? im not sure

  12. Concept that may prove useful: People think forward, but an animation program (A:M or any other) thinks backward. When you establish a keyframe telling A:M that the model should be in THIS position at THIS frame, the computer looks backward in time to see how to get the model there. It looks for the last time you established a position (keyframe), then makes inbetweens. If you haven't established any other keyframe, it looks all the way back to the beginning.

     

    Note that not everything is keyframed every time, unless you do it deliberately. It is quite possible to keyframe some aspects of a model's position and not others - easy, in fact, you can do it by accident and probably have.

     

    alright so with you saying that, how DO you make a keyframe at a certain frame.

  13. OK i really somehow gotta learn this slowly, but i need to learn this, itll make my animating like 100x easier.

     

    Whats happening is when i animate someone in a choreography i make then maybe jump or jump then spin, or also recently happening the can can then a slap on the face, but whenever i do this it always starts from the begginning so for the can can move, it totaly ruin it, because he starts slapping himself in the face at fraom 0 moving his hand slowly up. and for jumping he starts rising into the air from the very begginnimg and for the jump and spin he start spinning from the very begginning too. i dont know how to make it so they start the second action from later in the animation instead of always starting from the begginging. have any of you guys had this problem before and how do you fix it. i watched the video manual, the piching one, and i saw there was an encountered problem there very similar to mine. the knights backfoot started rising from the very begginning, but then all he did was he moved it down back to close where it was and then pushed the something model button i think, its two buttons to the right from whole model button down at bottom. but doing this it will still start moving from the bigginning because if he just moves the knights foot down then it will very slowly slide a bit becase he couldnt have moved the knights foot exactly on the place it was before, thats like very hard to do and would take a lot of time.

     

    so if any of you can help me itll help a lot.

OK i made a tooned rendered out version of walking, and it looks great, but the walking could use some improvements i could say. ima post it righ down here, but if you have any helpful tips, hints stuff thatll help and tutorials i could find( besides the video tutorials here, watched almost all of em) and done em.
