Ok, fluids take way to long to render so I just made a transparent patch with roughness on it to simulate water. I finished the layout of the enemy compound and rendered out a quick mov.
-
Is this going to be some kind of hot fountain?
No but I figure it is less of a hassle to use fluids than make a material.

The cheeks from the front look rigid. Try to follow the curve of the face, you did a nice job with that from the side. Great first try though. my first try was pathetic but now I am pretty good at it. I started from scratch and every time I did I got better. Here are two movies to contrast my first face with my most current one.

Why dont you just render the scenes you want from each camera?
-
I finished the pond with water.
-
Thanks a lot it works!

I couldn't find the material under the choreography so I just manipulated the actual material in the material section. I will try again tomorrow. Thanks for the help!

I am making a pond and I thought I could fill it with fluid and the stop filling it a the first frame. How can I go about doing this. do I manipulate the material directly? I tried setting keys for the emission rate and it just completely deleted all the fluid.

thats just basic spline continuity problems. you need to have a net like cross of splines for it to look good. Also try this http://www.hash.com/users/jsherwood/tutes/SkyLark.pdf

You can use a dynamic constraint and that will work perfectly

That's amazing! Excellent work.

It will take place in the enemy compound. I don't really know what you mean by 'old time ninja theme.' Could you explain?
What I meant to say is that what your scene and the surrounding will look like. Will it look like those old time Japanese movies?
CHEERS!
The scene will be a more traditional japanese setting but the over all mood will be a little dark. So yes and no

The neck looks really square to me... i don't have a pic of it but in the movie "300" when the head wash chopped off it stayed an oval shape
also the spine is closer to the back of the neck
I just copied and pasted the head from my other model and where I copied it the shoulders were starting. I did round it out now though. Thanks for the criticism. I am rendering an AO image of the head now so I will post it when it is done.
I also rounded out the knobs on the bed posts. Here is a pic, although the closer ones look a bit flat still.

HI- This is a great start, though the bed (and bedposts) look a little clunky. The knobs look large and out of proportion, and I'm wondering why the bed is on a solid platform instead of legs.
The table looks great though!
The bed was originally going to be a futon type thing to make it look more japanese but it evolved a little while I was making it. Here is another prop.

Your models look great. I just have couple of questions.
Where will the assassination take place?
Will this be like old time ninja theme?

I have decided to make a short movie in order to better my skills as an animator, modeler and texturer. I centers around a ninja that has to complete an assassination. Right now I am working on the set. So far I have finished the bed and the table. Here they are. I look forward to the completion of this project and the criticism to help me make it better. Thanks in advance!

here is a really good demon skin tutorial by Colin. http://www.colins-loft.net/free/mats/Demon_Skin_Material.htm

do you want to use tubes? You can just make a skull cap and add particle hair to it. Check out this tutorial on making hair. http://www.colins-loft.net/new_coop_tutorial/CoopHair.html

Occationally when I click the box to name the file it freezes and I cant click ok or click out. When this happens I just force quit it and reopen it to render it again. The second time around it usually works. I am on a mac too.

you have to position it at 00:00:00 and give it a keyframe right before it starts to move. Then one at the end of the movement.
