  1. Hi Nancy, > Do we have a forum for you or what? < D'oh - ah, there it is. Excellent, thanks! --Ethan
  2. Rodney, Excellent, thanks very much. I'm totally psyched. With luck FedEx will be ringing my doorbell any minute now... Last question for now: I certainly plan to work with the program initially, but what's the best forum section to post a Help Wanted ad? --Ethan
  3. Hi Rodney, > Sorry, missed your posting earlier. < No problem. I understand that the first few posts from newbies are moderated to avoid spam etc. Heck, I wish all forums did that! > Need more incentive to purchase? < Ha ha, no, I'm convinced. I called Hash yesterday and was told the same thing, that a lot of still life content is included, so I went ahead and placed an order. I am very excited to dive into this program! I may also look into hiring someone to help me since I understand there's a large learning curve ahead of me. I hope this isn't inappropriate to mention, but I wonder how many AM users here would be interested in doing some design work for hire? Do you folks maintain a list of users? Of course, anyone seeing this is welcome to chime in. I'm near Danbury, CT so someone local is preferred, but it's not mandatory. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to see how far I can get on my own. So many ideas, so little time! Thanks. --Ethan
  4. Hi, I'm not an AM user - yet - but I intend to be soon. However, my main interest at the moment is to purchase AM to use for modeling my company's products in domestic situations. That is, to use AM as a home-design program that can do beautiful and life-like renderings. I've spent a lot of time on the main site and browsing this forum, but I can't find a list of common objects included with the program. I've seen stunning still-lifes AM users have created, so I know that what I intend is possible. But I'm hoping to avoid having to design every item manually, such as a lamp or tree or couch etc. Is there such a list of items included? Or, in lieu of a detailed list, if someone can just confirm that AM includes these sorts of things, that will be enough and I'll go ahead and buy it now. Thanks! --Ethan
