Hello all. I'm working my way through the rigging a face tutorial and am up to the point where you rig the eyes. I really like the way the system works but I have to admit I'm having a heck of a time getting the eyeline to line up. Smartskinning the individual eyelids is no problem but when I try to get it so the eyeline stays even, its a wreck. Is there a trick to accomplishing this? Is it necessary to tweak at each individual rotation point? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

I use Raf's setup for eyes and have developed a little workflow that makes life alot easier. I create a percentage pose, and build the movement of both lids in muscle mode, so that the eyeline moves up to the top at 100% and down to the bottom at -100%. This makes sure that the lids remain together. Depending on the model I normally just have to put an additional set of keys in at 50% inorder to keep the deformation looking neat, but sometimes I add additional keys at 25% and 75%. Then, when I'm happy with how the lids move, I copy and past the CPs keyframes to the relevant smartskin bones. I've tried having the smartskin bones drive seperate poses but this has caused redraw issues in the past so I've steered clear.

Hope that this helps.
