gra4mac Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 I was trying to make cloth look like water. I've seen worse, better too. http://www3.telus.net/imagestreamstudio/te...l_wake(on2).mov Quote
Grubber Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 hmm... interesting... very interesting... ...and curious... how to make such with v9.5? Quote
gra4mac Posted October 5, 2003 Author Posted October 5, 2003 I did the cloth water in 10.5, but I think it works the same in 9.5. Make a grid, I used 60x60 with 5 cm spacing. Group the inner CPs for the cloth, leave the outer row of cps to anchour the cloth. In the CHO/muscle mode, select the cloth CPs and control click, for Macs, Cloth Wizard. I leave the cloth settings at the defaults: I don't see any difference with changing them anyhow, but in the CHO properties/dynamics, set the y value to "0" so there is no gravity. Start the ball above the cloth and lower about 1/2 way, to give the cloth time to react and move out of the ball's way. Then move the ball along the cloth. Now run the Spring simulation. Quote
gra4mac Posted October 5, 2003 Author Posted October 5, 2003 I added a version with the ball dropping straight through the cloth. http://www3.telus.net/imagestreamstudio/te...p_cloth_on2.mov Quote
xor Posted October 5, 2003 Posted October 5, 2003 Those are awesome. I can just imagine what all you could do with these and other variations. Good Work. Lance Quote
