george Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 I've put my model through the set up machine and since worked on the rigged model (ie pose slidders hair etc.) ...now I'm not quite happy with certain aspects of the skeleton - can you edit the bones in the rigged model (ie reposition the elbows etc) after its been through the set up machine and if so how ? Morgan Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Officially, I can't recommend it. But I sympathize with the frustration of realizing that you really should have done something differently, five steps back. So, unofficially: It's possible that you could unhide all the relevant bones -- both the original geo bones and the TSM-generated worker bones -- and reposition them, as well as the control bones that are already visible. If you keep them all lined up, you may be able to change your joint positioning without breaking your rig. Depending on how much you want to change and how much work you've done since you've rigged, it may or may not be worth it. Good luck. Quote
george Posted August 6, 2004 Author Posted August 6, 2004 Thanks for the advice...in the end I deleted all the bones and started again...will learn next time to amend my model in a pre-set up state as well as a rigged version... george Quote
