someawfulbridge Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I was reading some tutorials about normal mapping, and all I could find is that normal maps were a quicker approximation of bump maps for use in realtime (game) rendering. So, in image/animation projects like those created in A:M, what is the difference between the two? Why use one over the other, and if one is outstandingly preferable, why have both? Quote
