In exercise 11 I have formed the head neck and legs but the book never explains how to make the loop at the top of the leg ( never even referred to but pictured in figure 2 and 3, pg 123) I formed the 6 point looped spline to extrude the legs and have done so. Common sense tells me to form another 6 point loop from left view now(not top view) and then attach to the leg....but not sure. Help Please! I am speaking of the loop that would make what I would call the hip at the top of the back leg and the shoulder at the top of the front leg. If I only extrude as the book says from left view I would not have the rotation to view the full circle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
