video problem

I have AM 11.1b and each time i render a video the video finnishes but when i try to go to the folder and view the file the computer says windows has experienced an error and needs to close.

is there any type of patch or solution to this problem?

When you render what are your settings?

 

Try rendering the following (a small render this is just a test):

 

Quicktime

Sorenson3

30fps

high

 

Then play in quicktime.

I have seen this issue before using AVI. If you expand the AVI setting and click Set, you will find that it is set to Full Frame (Uncompressed). I hesitate to recommend an alternate setting as I edit video and have about 15-20 different codecs listed there and most won't be on your list.
