animateden Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 I saw the "3D Toons" book today by Anzovin and Anzovin It was quite impressive. Definately on my "Wish List". Here's my question: Is there any benefit to you folks at Anzovin if I buy it from you? Or do you have a deal with Amazon or anybody? I would like you to get the most bang for my buck. Thanks, Quote
animateden Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 I was too excited to wait so I purchased the book through the link to Amazon on your page. Hope you get something for this, Quote
Raf Anzovin Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 What way you order it doesn't make any difference to us--we just linked to the page where it's being sold. But thanks for the thought! --Raf Quote
Brian Kidd Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Looks good, I'll have to check out the book too. BTW my car license plate is actually "3D TOON" . B.Kidd Quote
animateden Posted August 13, 2005 Author Posted August 13, 2005 Brian, The book arrived from Amazon just the other day. I have started reading it, however, I keep finding myself drifting through pages just to look at more and more of the amazing artwork. It is a real inspiration to see many pieces I have seen on the A:M mailing list and forum in hi-rez printed glory. I give this book my highest recommendation. I truly have become a student of the Anzovin's. I own all of their tutorial CDs and now their book. Each has been a much used learning tool and reference. -Den P.S. This has been an unpaid, unsolicited endorsement from one very happy customer! Quote
lafnjack Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Yeah, I've seen the book at the store. VERY inspiring. I put my order in this weekend with Amazon to ship, and also put in an order on Sunday for their Training CD Bundle from their site. Next month is TSM and Weight Mover. Can't wait. lafnjack PS: To the Anzovin guys, send my best to Steve. I hope he has a speedy recovery soon. My prayers are with him. Quote
FilipLouwet Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I bought the book today in a big bookstore here in Belgium. Great combination of information, "app screenshots", drawings, storyboards, final renders, etc... Like a few people before me already said: very inspirational. Quote
patmals Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I borrowed the book today from the University Library which I work at. VERY nice book indeed. When i have more cash, i think i will invest in a copy myself! Quote
