Hey Jim, she is looking beautiful. Something seems a little off with the hair. It might be the shine, I'm not sure.
I also wouldn't mind seeing a modeling and/or texturing tutorial from you. I could sure use some extra help in areas.

I also think the lensflare is a little destracting. Could we see a pic of the model from the model window? Or rendered in brighter light?

Did you try decaling it? Right clck on your model and select New>Decal>"Your Wood Image". Make sure you are in the top view then align the image and Right Click and Apply.

I really like this guy. I do think you should add a little bump mapping for fur, unless you decide to toon shade him.

Well since everyone is showing off their dragon creatures. I thought I'd help with a few wires of my old one. I removed the tail and wings since they're pretty big.
Excuse the materials on the dragon. I imported it into 10.5 from 8.5, so they're a little wacky.
Hope this helps a little.

I think your Hippie Dwarf is great. He looked fantastic in your final. I just wish I could have done more with my Nerdy.
