  1. Hi there, I'm curious as to whether A:M allows for external assets for workflows. I may be going around it the long way but it is a newbie question. For example:- If I'm making a scene and it was my job to animate it and someone elses job to model the character. Would the character model update automatically the next time I loaded my project? How does that work? You can point me to a chapter in the book if you wish, I have a copy of it. So in theory, I could animate several characters that look the same as a base model and then change them later to be individual people? Cheers Clinton
  2. Hi also. This forum and community is very pro-active at helping everyone and anyone interested in A:M to get up and running. Clinton
  3. Hey Paul, Thanks for those tips. I'm working on my stuck door at the moment, I was really impressed at how easy the knight one was to do after I replaced it with the older one. Yeah, I'm using a version 12 at the moment. Cheers guys, I appreciate it.
  4. Hey, thanks for the quick reply. I did that, but that is where my problems are, I think. I've just gotten the hang of the different windows and used the side and front views to sort through it. I can tell I'm going to have some trouble with this.... hee hee. I'm on the Can can one now, it's moving along nicely and feel a bit more confident. Clinton
  5. Hi there, So I've started A:M for the very first time.... not true but may as well be. In the first tutorial, the Kit e Kat is asked to be brought in. That's easy, but it floats in mid-air and I can't see where there may be a "drop to floor" type of command or function or something. Does one exist? Signed Newbie of the year. lol Cheers Clinton
