  1. That's really cool! If you can, I think you should make the ant's legs bend a little more or do something to the ant to make it look as if it the ball of dirt and stuff weighs something. Right now, it just looks as if the sphere is just barely resting on the ant's back. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

  2. Wow! This is looking great. Your drawings are getting better, and the story sounds cool. I'm still willing to do some editing if you'd like. By the way, how did you like the new eyes for the turtle? I'm still working on the music...well...thinking about it, but I'm going to work on it today. Anyway, keep up the good work. I like seeing the progress.

  3. Holy Guacamole! You have improved tremendously! Wow! I am amazed! Seriously, I hope you keep up with all of this because with your rate of improvement you will be able to do some pretty amazing stuff in the future. Wow! That's so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so cool (I got tired of typing "so," but there would be a lot more if I hadn't). That is so cool Whiz/dude, keep it up. I can't wait to see more.

Oh...suggestions...I was so mesmerized by the tremendous improvement that you have made that I didn't see that part of the post. Well there are some spots that could be smoothed down just a tad bit more...it looks like there is a little bump on the cheek but I'm not really sure...but other than that, it is amazing.

  4. in highschool i was in a sience fair my project was on diffrent types of acids and how they affect diffrent materials in zero atmeashpere.

would been a good 2nd or 3rd place if i didnt put a hole in the gym floor

(really wasnt my fault that one of the acids ate though the container

LOL...that's really unfortunate. It sounds like it would have been a really good project.

  5. LOL...well they never even mentioned it to me when I was in school. The only time I heard about science fairs was while watching some tv show or movie. I think they only told the lower grades about it because nobody in the high school ever talked about it, and I never saw any high schoolers' work displayed in the auditorium. It was all the middle schoolers' work. Besides, I do fifty billion...well not that much...a lot of other things, so I wouldn't have had time anyway. You're lucky. It's great that you're doing this. I'm sure you'll do well, but good luck anyway.

  6. Sounds like a cool idea. I always wanted to do a science fair project. However, I would have spent too much time deciding what to do and procrastinating. By the time I made up my mind and decided that I could start working, I would have realized the deadline was the next day, so I wouldn't be able to finish anything in time. Because of this, I pretty much just wouldn't have even bother starting. LOL...I hope you do well.

  7. Always,

I'm with you in that I too do not model very fast either. My Sponge Bob I made took me at least 8-12 actual hours and the ant I made took me about 16-20 actual hours.

When Whiz/Dude posted his spider leg design (that was base off of the picture I found on the web) to try to help out cuboos and noted that he did it in 10 minutes, I was very impressed because I KNOW that I couldn't have made a model with that much detail in 10 minutes. So just to let you know, you are NOT alone in not being a fast modeller.

    Jeetman

    Jeet!

    You're back! Awesome!

Anyway, thanks for letting me know I'm not alone in the fact that I am a slow modeller. I've noticed that I always seem to be slower than most people at everything I do, so it's pretty normal for me and I don't think about it much anymore (unless I'm feeling really competitive) LOL. It's nice to know, though, that I am not the only slow modeller out there, so thank you.

  8. LOL, My computer must be really slow then because just the lathing part would have taken me two minutes. Then I'd take a billion minutes trying to put everything together perfectly...well that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I still think that if I tried modeling that even the same way that you did it would take me more than two minutes. I'm not calling you a liar. I'm actually trying to give you a compliment, so I guess I'll just go ahead and say "Good job!" LOL
