  1. That's a pretty good theory, you are probably correct.
  2. All the details are in my first message. I opened a model that is on the local hard drive (not the CD), edited it some, then right-clicked... the Save option is unavailable, only Save As is available. (edit) I just noticed that : - if I DRAG the model from the Library icon onto a "new" modeler window and edit it - Save IS NOT available - if I use File Open and navigate to the model, open it, and then edit it - Save IS available - if I double-click on the model icon in the library, it opens a modeler window, then I edit it - Save IS available This seems like a bug in the library or something when using drag and drop.
  3. Am I missing something obvious...how do I edit and save (overwrite) just a model? For example: I start AM Go to File > New > Model Then I drag into the modeling window one of the CD based models, say the DUCK for example. I edit the model a bit I right click, and "SAVE" is grayed out... so I cannot save the model My CD Library is on the local hard drive. Thanks
  4. I have it working now. I tricked the install by first installing the 15.0j+ patch, then installing the 15.0b on top of that, and then installing the 15.0j+ on top of that again. Now it works. I also moved the Data folder from the CD to the disk and pointed at that.
  5. Unfortunately, now whenever I try to install 15.0j on top of 15.0b, the application won't even open, it crashes.
  6. I recently installed a AM 15.0c via the CD. Everything seems to be fine, I can view and access the CD library. I downloaded the CD box version (windows) of 15.0j+. After installation, the program started okay, but now my CD library is filled with question marks instead of the images which represent the content. Is there some special way of applying these updates that won't break the CD link or some way to fix it? (I emailed support, but haven't gotten a response yet). Bill
  7. How come sometimes when I want to create a five point patch, the interface won't allow it? Can you not have two five point patches touching each other? (sharing a commone spline segment). I got it to work...does the order that you select the points make a difference?
