Great job on the NIXUS so far Viper. Started doing one myself (also in the WIP section). Not much done yet, but getting there.

i tryed the nixus model in 3D max to see how it would turn out not bad not bad at all. I convert the model format from AM to 3dmax format.

I rendered out a 10 second clip to TGA in HDTV-1080 format. This is for the Challenger flyby, so much of the scene is on a black background. The render went fine, but when I try to import the sequence back into AM I get into trouble. There are 300 TGAs. If I select them all at once to import, AM give me a message saying "too many files selected at once." If I select 50 at a time, I can get around 200 loaded and then I start getting blank TGAs imported or #011 errors, and sometimes the fatal #001 shutdown. I have a 2.66 GHz CPU with 1.5 GB of ram. Is this an AM issue or a memory related issue?
Anyone else ever try an import of TGAs of that length in 1080 format?
By the sound of it I think ram is the problem. Try geting a extra gb in and see how it goes with 2gb of ram.

oK SOME PANELS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY LIKE THAT FRONT WHEEL WEL. ENY ONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE A WHEEL WEL VERY SMOTH AND SHAPE LIKE THE NIXUS.

I think im geting the hang. its looking better every day and still need to make it a lil more smooth but its geting there. I cant wait wen its done its going to look off the hook.

btw, you have made sure all the images are in sync right? if one image is diffrent from another it could cause confusion. you can stretch the images to fit the size which is what i do...
Ya i know lol i always make shure its all the same so everthing match but thx for pointing it out. like i said eny help is great.

I spend a good 4 hrs or more and this how fare i got. I am thinking to redo the bottom part but then if u look at the nixus pics it looks like its a lil flat not all the way round. So wat do you guys think is it good or somthing wrong.

shure eny one who wants to give it a try go right ahaed just help me out at it to couse im having problems starting the thing. I restart the thing like 5x already.

well look at this way, every thing doesn't need to be connected(thats how i see it)...also some plugins would help...do you have the primitive plugin?

hey man, you know my render has improved since your last model....any chance once your done with this i can do it again?
just ask'in...shure but its going to take me a long time to make this model im still learning how to make it couse never done such shape before. Mag do you know were i should start from.
