    Your patience should pay off for you as there is something new and (I think) very cool in the works.

    Hash Inc is waiting on me... so I'm the bottleneck.

    Sorry i must be a little out of date....

     

    Even in games like Dead or Alive you unlock special features, like after you complete the story of one of the charecters you unlock a short clip of them.

     

    It an interesting idea anyways.....

     

    OK, sounds good to me. I haven't been thinking about the "Chuck E Cheese" aspect of the game at all. I personally wouldn't watch the movie from within the Oz library, though. I would get the T.W.O. DVD that's packaged with the game!? and watch that because I can watch it from the comfort of my sofa. The only thing I can think of that would make me as a player care about gaining points for the OZ library is to offer coupons for free TWO action firgures - signed by Martin Hash! Or maybe the Oz Library has scrolls/spells or gizmos that I can use in the game??

     

    Okay, the movie may be not a good idea, though in Star Wars Battlefront, after gaining so many points they start using clips from the film. Gaining points are good, and that's one constant main draw to people playing games.

     

    So, gizmos, scrolls, powerups...all from gaining points or completing tasks. As far as the library, maybe downloadable posters from the film.

     

     

    No that sounds fun....Everyone loves powerups :)

     

    Maybe even after you collect every point in the game you Unlock a new charecter?

     

    Maybe Dorthy...or someone..... :blink:

    Quest: Nimmee's Old House

    Zone: Munchkin Country

    Location: In the Munchkin forest?Group visits Nimmee’s old house but it is deserted?Tin Man suggests they pay a visit to Ku Klip.

    Models Used: Nimmee’s Old house scen (After you read through this add the models I missed im not good at this part.)

    NPCs: Rabbit

    Notes: Hope you like it.

     

     

     

    Players come to Nimmee’s old house.

     

    Players can scrounge through the house and find that it is empty…

    The house is completley empty….there will, however, be some something you must do to leave the house.

    After exploring every room, and “Searching”some bookcases and looking under beds…you may now head for the door were tin man will say suggest you leave and visit Ku-Klip.

    The possible answers for this will be

     

    Player – Lets go! And then they leave.

     

    Player – No I want to stay a bit longer. And they willcontinue to stay in the house.

     

     

    Hmm i really couldn’t think of anything interesting for this Lvl sorry, since this is just a house and all…nothing to interesting in houses…of course if you could spice it up a bit that would be great!

     

    If the players do not figure this out, then they can talk to the rabbit..(He seems to be everywhere! O.o)

    The rabbit will tell them that they should search the house a bit.

     

     

    O Btw holmes the gamebook is looking good!

  5. I had a ton of fun experimenting with this scene. :)

     

    Here it is.

     

     

     

     

    Level: 17

    Quest: Chasm

    Zone: Mount Munch

    Location: foothills of Mount Munch – just past the Invisible Country?The path ends at a deep chasm too wide to jump across, on the other side is a vast broad plain full of wild flowers and tall wild grass.?Group must find a way across.?If group can’t get across, the Hippogyraf eventually finds them and offers to ferry them across the chasm on his long neck if he can eat Scarecrow’s straw first.

    Models Used: Mount Munch Chasm Scene, Underground Cave, Broken Bridge, Trees, Old mans Invention (After you read through this add the models I missed im not good at this part.)

    NPCs: Old man

    Notes: Hope you like it.

     

     

     

    Players come to a very wide chasm…

     

    There are some trees in the area, they are thin, but still there are a lot of them.

     

    If: Players use tin woodsman and his axe to chop down some nearby trees, and by laying them side by side over the chasm they can make a bridge In which the players can cross.

     

    If: Players Do not find a way across the hippograph (Not sure if that is how you spelled it) will come and take them across with his long neck if they let him eat scarcrow’s straw.

     

    If: (Now this part I wasn’t quite sure, I thought it would make it a little to easy because I seem to use the Pumped up loon for a lot of stuff, just tell me what you guys think.) Players still have a pumped up Loon they can simply just float across.

     

     

    If: Players walk down a little ways from the Chasm there will be a guy there, he will have an interesting piece of equipment (Which is a cannon sort of thing)

     

    Player_a1 – Hey there, what is that thing you have?

    Player_a2 – Umm, how do I get across this Chasm?

    Player_a3 – Hi, old man.

     

    Old Man_a1 – Well its my new invention, you see it shoots thing out, anything. All I need is a rope and something to light the rope with and I can shoot out “Anything”.

     

    Old Man_a2 – Well I really don’t have an idea, I have been trying to get across for years…I finally came up with a plan. I would make something…something that can shoot people across it.

    He will show you the cannon which is right next to him.

     

    Old Man_a3 – Hello young man.

     

    Player_a1_1 – Skip to Player_a2_1

     

    Player_a2_1 – Can I use your invention?

     

    Player_a3_1 – Nothing will happen you will have to talk to him again and you will have the same options as you did the first time.

     

     

    Player_a2_2 – Well, I would let you use it since I wouldn’t want to test it out myself.

    (Players will start looking a little nervouse after that.) But I havent got what I need to try it out. If you can get me 1 rope, and any type of torch or fire to light the rope with. Then it should be all set to go.

     

    If: Players talk to him again, he will just say. “I told you, I need 1 rope and any type of fire to light it with.”

     

     

    Players can locate the rope on a broken down bridge which was probably the way to cross the Chasm long ago. They will be given the option to “Search” the bridge once they do that they will obtain a rope.

     

     

    Players can locate the fire or torch at an underground cave which is a little north of where the Chasm is. Once they get into the cave there will be some type of glowing Plants all around the cave, which seems to give off enough light to let them see.

     

    Players will come to a room, a square room with no doors, a straight dead end. There will be 4 switches, one will be on the north wall, the second will be to the east wall, the third will be to the south wall, the fourth will be to the west wall. There will be a stone tablet with some writing on it. It will read.

     

    “The north will not be Last or Third, the south will not be last or first, the west will not be third or second or last and the east will not be second or third.”

     

    Now the levers you have to pull will need to be in this order right here.

    The West lever will of course need to be pulled first, the reason for this is, the tablet say, that “the west will not be Third second or last” which means that it has to be first.

     

    The South will need to be pulled Third, the reason for this is the tablet says That the north the east and the west will not be third. So that means that the south will have to be pulled third.

     

    The East will have to be pulled Last, the reason for this is the North, South and west will all not be Last, which means that the East will have to be last.

     

    Now we have only one lever left the north, the north will be pulled second because it the only slot left open.

     

    After they successfully complete this trick. There will be a loud rumble and a treasure chest will appear in the middle of the room, and not only that but the unlit torches that are around the room will be get lit.

    Inside the chest will be some food and oil and straw. Now they can take one of the torches and bring it to The old man. He will say “Good job now just get on in.” after a quick shot of you jumping in the cannon he will succesfully shoot you across the Chasm.

     

    And that completes The Level “Chasm”

     

     

    I hope this level is okay. Sorry but I really wanted to make a level with a underground cave where you need to solve riddles, that is one of the most fun in the games I play.

    Of course Holmes feel free to take and add to this. After all this is my first time ever doing something like this, im the Novice here.

  6. Ack..sorry i havent been here in a while, i almost have the "Chasm" scene complete. Just wanted to let you guys know im still working on it.

     

    O btw, great job holmes...im not really good with that kind of stuff, so i dont really know anything thats going on with that, but it seems to be looking good.

  7. Player A_1 - Knock on the door

    Player A_2 - Forage the food in the garden (cant take stuff until ofter quest)

    Player A_3 - Forage some straw for Scarecrow(Cant take until after quest)

     

    Mrs Swine A_1 - Does nothing. Ignores the knocking

     

    Player A_1_c – Around the house there is a odd looking plank in the wall that you can remove.

     

    A_1_c2 – Remove the plank and you will find yourself inside Mrs Swine’s house. Avoide contact with Mr. or Mrs. Swine or you will be throne out of the house and will have to start over. Once inside the house you will need to find a picture of there 9 children, the picture is located on a counter around the dinning table. Watch out though Mr. Swine walks around there often, you will have to try and get the picture when his back is turned.

     

    A_1_c3 – Just because you have the picture doesent mean your safe! If you get caught you will be thrown outside, AND WILL NOT KEEP THE PICTURE. Now quickly but quietly crawl back out of the plank. Go back and knock on the door and you it will be answerd by Mrs. Swine.

    She will say "Who are you and what do you want?"

     

    Player A_1_c3_a – I wanted to talk about your children who are in this picture here.

    Player A_1_c3_b – Im a nobody, so don’t talk to me.

    Player A_1_c3_c – Nothing im just passing through.

     

     

     

    Mrs Swine A_1_c3_a2 – Her look will turn to a look of exitement. “Please! Come in! Have some food and get rested up!”

    Mrs Swine A_1_c3_b2 – Fine! She then slams the door in your face. If you knock again then it will be a repeat of before.

    Mrs Swine A_1_c3_c2 – “Well the why in the world did you knock?!?!” She will then slam the door in your face just like before.

     

     

    Player A_1_c3_a2 – Once inside you will be asked. “What is it that you wanted to know about our children?”

    Player Answer - 1: “Something terrible is gonna happen to them!”

    2: “There going to be killed!”

    3: “They are in big trouble!”

     

    Every answer will have the same outcome. Mrs Swine will say “Oh no!” “I cant let anything happen to my poor children!” “But Emerald city is so far away!” “I could never walk that distance.” She will turn to you and say “Could you please go and bring back my children?” I would never be able to do it myself.” “And you will be rewarded well!”

     

    Player Answer_1 – Of course I will help!

    Player Answer_2 – No way!

     

    Mrs Swine Answer_1 – Ok then off you go. Time is of the essence.

    Mrs Swine Answer_2 – Well then leave! She will throw you outside and you will have to start over FROM THE BEGINNING.

     

     

     

    Now you must go to emerald city which is a good distance away.

    Once you are there you will see regular people around town.

    Talk to any one of them and you will ask about the piglets. They will tell you that they are fine. And they live in a house not to far away.

    The house is located right outside the gates of emerald city. It has a big sign that says “The Nine Little Piglets” Once inside they will ask

    “Who are you?”

     

    Player Answer_1 – Im just looking around.

    Player answer_2 – Your mother is worried sick!

     

    Piglets Answer_1 – Well look around somewhere else! They will then throw you outside.

    Piglets Answer_2 – Our mother?? Did you hear that guys! Mother is worried! We should go visit her! Our poor mother! Thanks for the help!

    After that all the piglets take off out the door.

     

    Go back to Mrs Swine house and knock on the door. She will answer and will thank you deeply and will give you all some food. And most lovley of all Will upgrade your wepons.

     

     

     

     

    After you have completed the quest and you have everything, once you knock on the door this is what happens…..

     

    Mrs. Swine: Hello there! Perhaps you would like something to eat and a place to rest?

     

    Player: A1-Yea right you stupid pig I don’t need food from you!

    Player: A2-Say thanks! I’m pretty hungry!

    Player: A3-No thanks Maam, where just passing through…

     

    Mrs.Swine: A1-Then beat it! After this she chases you out of her field beating you with a broom.

     

    Player: A1_a – Players after that happens will then have to give her something if they ever want her to let them sleep in her place again.

    Player A1_b – Players can steal from her garden and get some food that way.

     

    Mrs.Swine: A2-Very good, please come in!

     

    Player A2_a – Players after they have eaten and rested can now leave with there hunger full and rested up.

    Player A2_b – Players can stay at the house doing work for them like picking food for the house and what not. Each time players help the Swines the get some money.(there is going to be some kind of money right?)

     

    Mrs.Swine A3 – Well please come back anytime!

     

     

     

     

     

     

    I hope we can get something out off this...tell em what it needs.

  8. Ok i have shaggy walking along a path....at the end of the path i want him to, stop, turn, and face the camera.

    Now i'v put my Transition to next action "ON" i'v put hold last frame to "OFF" Put my blend method to "Add"

    I'v even tried to make a new choreography action...but no matter what i do....it changes what happens in his walk cycle "Which i dont want anything to change in his walks cycle!"

     

    Hope someone can help.

    Quest: The Swines

    Zone: Mount Munch

    Location: Mount Munch Valley

    Models Used: Mount Munch valley scene, Hay, Swines house, Garden with fiels of grain, Broom, Mrs. Swines Garden, Woots new look shovel.

    NPCs: Mr. & Mrs. Swine, Woot, Tinman, Scarcrow,

    Notes:

    *in a small valley in the Mount Munch Plains.?Group comes upon a very small (dwarf size) house beside a garden with fields of grain filling the rest of the small valley.?Smoke is coming out of the chimney.?Some haystacks are behind the house.?Mr and Mrs. Swine (Pigs) live in the house.?

    *If Player convinces the pigs they are not butchers, the pigs let the group forage food out of the garden and allow Scarecrow to take straw from the haystacks.------------

     

    Mrs. Swine: Hello there! Perhaps you would like something to eat and a place to rest?

    Player A3_a – Players can talk to Mrs. Swine anytime they want and she will rest them up and feed them.

    Player A3_b – Players can leave and steal from her garden if they want.

    Player A3_c – Players can just leave the farm and head on to there next journey.

    Quest: Hungry Jaguar

    Zone: Gillikan Country

    Location: Gilikan country forest path

    Models Used: Gilikan country forest path scene, Meat Tree, pole….(if I missed any let me know!)

    NPCs: Jaguar

    Notes: Player is in the Gillikan Country forest and encounters a hostile Jaguar. Player doesn't know it yet, but the Jaguar is hungry and wants to eat Woot. Player must talk to jaguar and see if they can get him anything else.

    ------------

    Jaguar: Hiss…im hungry…give me something to eat or I will not let you pass.

    Player: A1-Hey! Don’t worry about it…ill get you some food just tell me what it is you want.

    Player: A2-Haha you stupid animal Ill figure out something!

    Player: A3-Ill just find a way around you then….

    Jaguar: A1-This tree right here, It grows food I like…if you can get me four of them that are on the tree then ill be more than happy to let you go by.

    Jaguar: A2-Fine lets just see you try to pass…..(If player tries to go past the Jaguar then the Jaguar will block your path.) Note-If you refuse the Jaguar..after you talk to him again, it will skip to A1-Response.

     

     

     

    Player: A1_a - There is a long stick laying on the ground behind the tree which the player can pick up. Four or five of the meat-fruits are down low enough where the player can whack them with the stick. When the player successfully whacks a piece of meat, the meat swings back and fourth with a chance of falling to the ground.

     

    Player A1_b - Tin Man can use his axe to chop down the tree. Then the player can click on four of the meat-fruits to add them to his inventory.

    Player A1_c - Players can use the Pole that is lying on the ground, to Pole Volt Over the Jaguar and escape.

     

    Jaguar: A2-Fine lets just see you try to pass…..(If player tries to go past the Jaguar then the Jaguar will block your path.)

     

    Player A2_a - Player can go back the way he came.

    Player A2_b – Players can talk to the NPC bunny and get clues on how to pass.

    Player A2_c – Players can go to the nearest town and get meat to finish the level.

     

    Jaguar A3 – A way around me? Haha! Good luck!

     

    Player A3_a – Player can hack at the forest, there will be a spot in the forest that looks a little odd from the others. If you hack there then a passage way reaveals leading to a way around the jaguar.

    Player A3_b – Player can grab onto the vine that is hanging and try and swing over the jaguar, watch out though the jaguar can jump up and try and stop you from getting across.

    Player A3_c – Player can use a Pumped up Loon and float over the jaguar.
