  1. and others are more... swishy

Why not make it much more swishy!

    :D

Most of us have had a try - I too...

But there are so many others I hope also will have a try.

To make something stunning out of this - I believe - it demands a really talented guy or doll to show the possibilities:

Something really swishy? Or a little more stringent? Or a mix?

    :D

  2. here are the directions

Thanks a lot... I will have a try someday... being a little occupied of a lot of other matter.. so hoping that someone else will make something using your beneficial directions...

I believe this technique can be used not only having some limitations - being best used of carpet designers....

Mr Freeman - the inventor - posted his invention Mar 16 2005, 07:47 AM so it is fairly newborn this technique and deserves a lot of experimentation before reaching maturity.

So thanks again for your contribution - hoping there will be more experiments...

    :)

  3. The first one - waveHue2.mov - I liked best. :D

It got me thinking about Sonia Delaunay.

Why not have a Google Search for her pictures?

Sure the second is nice too.

If you have got too much of this... Why not upload some .prj-file and others can continue... The one with the spirals... I am most interested in.... or I can figure it out myself... someday...

Sure why not take some rest. Rome was not built on one day as they say. And why build Rome? And I think Venice is much nicer... more water... a horizon...

Why not meditate for a moment? You were working on the cats/mouses... Heidi Fleece, Marlene D'Eeeektrick & the Pwofessor... I would rather see a bit action between them...

This stuff is more for carpet designers... or being displayed on some gallery...

being some modernist stuff... If you are interested in modernism better Google on

Madame Blavatsky... she has been inspiring the ones.

    :D

  4. Sure nice! Really nice! :D

How many square meters? How many photons? How many hours rendering?

To me it looks like something from the 1920:s. I am thinking of expressionism....

    Peter Behrens the architect...

    http://www.ihr-nachbar.de/home/nachbar/na-.../behrensbau.htm

Having made an interior why not an exterior?

Erich Mendelsohns Einsteinturm is as made for A:M!

    http://www.aip.de/groups/soe/einsteinturm-d.html

Googling on this period I found this really amusing lamp. As made for A:M. It is a robot - as you perhaps know - the word robot comes from the Polish verb robota that means to work.

    http://www.pacgal.com/Pacgalstorepics/July...04/DSC_1261.jpg

Is this picture connected to your Laragach (Architektur Design) project?

About towns before the first WorldWar. Peter Behrens AEG factory is from that period.

    http://www.aquarius-multimedia.de/grafik/p...ach/b_n_o_g.jpg

Sure I like to know why you have choosen that period?

It is a really fascinating period. Man has discovered electricity - and have new tools to use....

turning out not very good.. in the First WorldWar....

I have also been interested in that period due to Tesla and his inventions

ElectroMagnetPulse Weapons and EartQuakeMachines - now being realized...

Now then some very influential tells us WW IV have started:

    http://www.commentarymagazine.com/podhoretz.htm

    belonging to this club:

    http://www.thefourreasons.org/pnac.htm

But there was some good things.... like the Tesla Tower

to experiment with communicating around the globe using the earth mantel

and to produce FREE ENERGY - the end of wars?!.,

Here is the Tesla Tower built in the beginning of the 20th century

    http://www.teslasociety.com/pictures/teslaxc2.jpg

It was not only architecture those years - they had a certain view on man:

    http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/images/TESLA.GIF

    :D

  5. Mrs Gormezano you are a kind of genius. I have told you before - telling you again.

Coming up with this japanese "wood cut style". And not only that - an animated wood-cut. I believe it is the first animated wood cut in world history.

Looking at it. I just wonder over the sun? an orange - without structure? Well... A gimmick? Sure there has to be som contrast.. The sun is missing its contour perhaps that is what is faltering?!.,

The bird turning into a leave - that is really really nice - philosophical - are you allowed to be that on this forum? :D

The waves I think is a bit to wavy... a bit slower please...

The waves not animated... they are fine... with the spirals... how are the spirals done? I really want to learn that...

I have written this is a mecanical method - this image based hair direction control - the IBHDC and have since been thinking this stuff is just good for carpet designers...

And trying to imitate oil-painting that is just crazy better for carpets...

Well you have showed that IBHDC is good for imitating "wood cuts". Perhaps it is the contours that make this great. How are you fixing the contours? Hope you want to upload the .prj-file and the stuff used. Really wanting to learn this!!!

And having contours perhaps you can do something original not leaning towards wood-cuts. With contours you can do some cartoon style... a new toon style....

Sure I believe you know the master of woodcuts Mr Hokusai - the one who invented Manga. Here is his most famous picture:

    http://www.arco-iris.com/George/images/hok..._great_wave.jpg

And here some more action done by the Master Hokusai of someones having a great time :

    http://www.jtw.zaq.ne.jp/bsc/pic/hokusai-5.gif

Sure this technique also is mecanical - making a wood-cut you are all the time reacting to the cuts made and not-made - the empty surface. With A:M you use some ready made template. Sure you can render and render again to get the feeling - but rendering is not real-time - takes some time to do it - to correct oneselfs attempts.

    :D

    Here is a link:

    http://www.buddhistinformation.com/mastering_causality.htm

that to me tries to communicate the ideas behind japanese painting. It is about clinging. Trying to do something in A:M your mind are clinging to some concepts. Sure you have to explore those concepts - clinging to them - but you also have to say NO to the concepts trying to get free - trying to do something opposite - not only using your minds ignore button - to find out something else - to find some kind of cross-over - balance - insight - without loosing the opposites - that is life to me - not only in A:M - and perhaps some little truth of what is behind wood cutting japanse persons. They are doing the cuts in a culture having tried to find out something about themselves and the world. I believe it is time for westerners to do the same thing - trying to stop the mad-race of our time.

So thanks for me getting inspired by your wood-cutting in A:M! And thanks to Hokusai! Believing the topics in some way or another are interconnected...

  6. I used a AKG Emotion D660S mic!

    http://www.music123.com/AKG-D660S-Dynamic-...ource=linkshare

without any shields or screen. Just pure!

Because I wanted that noisy whistlings so everybody listening could hear it was not OK!

otherwise beginning to say - well rather good - but not 100% - I could have done it a little better.... Now everyone can whistle better -hopefully. Everyone can be glad not feeling unhappy - not being a whistling expert...

    :D

Well eggs... with extremites... some kind of common ground for everything living on this sun-sattellite. And now in a new version!

The Human Gene Code was decrypted 2002!

But then there are the proteins and their interactons and that is a harder nut to crack!

But done that.... WHAT DO WE WANT? Well let us think? and meditate on that! Perhaps modeling and animating something... with a little sound... noisy or ....

    :D

    http://www.bmbf.de/en/1756.php

Different proteins can result from one gene, which may have different functions according to cell type and tissue. The cellular network of proteins is therefore highly complex. Smallest modifications of proteins can disrupt the function and thereby the flawless interaction of proteins and can lead to abnormal changes in living organisms.

Understanding the complexity of proteins and their functions will be the great challenge for all life sciences over the coming years. Understanding the interrelations can help to recognize the causes of diseases and to develop new therapies. Research in this field requires the application of innovative methods and high-performance technology in a new dimension. :D

    eggs_with_extremites02.mov

  7. I have got a pop shield! Working fine... If you want to use it. This time I did not use it - a bit lazy.

I just tried to do some modeling around an egg - because all living organisms has emerged from that form - a single cell - a one room apartment - then getting a bit more complicated.

All of this having some kind of language - genec ode- that builds the things up - someones of those organisms can WHISTLE!!!

The one who discovered the gene code Craig Venter - what is he doing now?

Have a look on a nice Flash site with SOUND!!! out on the sea catalogizing the living organisms around the planet.

    http://www.sorcerer2expedition.org/version1/HTML/main.htm

So to me it was trying to find an archaic form - the egg - to do something out of - putting extremities on.

If you want to see a nice picture of the rumanian sculptor Brancusi - here it is:

    http://www.gfmer.ch/Presentations_Fr/Images/brancusi.jpg

I was trying to get someones thinking about - can we handle this type of information - language - gene code? Everyone of us have not the time to dwelve into it - and the result - someones are taking patents on us. WHISTLING their way.... and the implications are... well you have to think about it... WHISTLING yourself...

    http://www.whistling.com/

    Searching on Google Scholar:

  8. Oh man... I hate responding to you... but...

Nice of you responding! Trying to communicate. Not just ignoring. Believing you know everything yourself. So please stop harassing me....

    I just had a look on your "ABOUT ME" - http://www.zack3d.com/about.html -

everything can be so easy in your age - believing your I is so perfect already...

    ..:: Stats ::..:....:::.:..::...

    Age: 15

Interests: 3D Modeling & Animation, Music

    Occupation: Student

Software: Hash Animation Master, Adobe Photoshop CS.

The Cambell Soup Tin Can is from a different period. I was well aware of that. Just that was my point. You totally missed!

The point answering you is - to stop you and a few one others here from harassing me.

Instead try to communicate - try to have a conversation. Try to say something about the topic.

Mr Hegemann has done a very beautiful picture but due to my view not trying to question the picture with a picture of a tin can or something else totally different - in that way freeing the spectator from becoming "violated" by the picture not letting the spectators thoughts and feeling stroll free.

Perhaps I am incorrect in suggesting that. Perhaps the aim of pictures is to get the spectators into a certain mode?!.,

Well Mr Taich I have had some looks on what you have done - http://www.zack3d.com/gallery.html And I really appreciate your works. But everything can be discussed. And I know you like to do it. So let us do it both of us with a little respect to both our beings. :D

  9. image based hair direction control (IBHDC)

I really liked that saying! Hope on seeing more from you done with IBHDC.

    :D

I liked your ocean waves and your water lilies. But I am sorry I believe this is a cul-de-sac because it is as you pointed out a mecanical method called IBHDC.

    :D

Still I like it in some way. It is decorative!!!

    :D

Why not do some funny thing too? Use the IBHDC on your avatar - the burning candle - and perhaps on your own photo... or someone elses....

    :D

OK! I have already done it... using a photo of a certain person... in my IBHDC... but it is really hard to figure it out who it is...

  10. Sure I like that picture. It is LIGHT in it!

    :D

"at the see" you call it - I am seeing a beach and some kind of sky - perhaps I am right?

here a picture i made completly with animation master.

    Hope you like cubism.

Cubism it was some years ago - coming back? What kind of cubism you did not tell us...

Found a short text with some words about it... ;)

    Anaytical and Synthetic Cubis

Analytical and Synthetic Cubism are phases of a painting style created by Pablo Picasso and George Braque. Analytical Cubism was developed from 1907 to 1912, and Synthetic Cubism developed from 1912-1914.

In this period, both artists worked closely together, competing in creating the next innovation of their cubist experiment. It was the constant challenge of one another that led to such powerful pieces created by both artists, works that fully realized the two types of cubism.

Analytical broke down the objects being painted to the point where the subject was almost unrecognizable.

Synthetic expressed the subject not only through paint but utilized collage and the invention of papier collé to rebuild the objects with shapes and forms more easily read by the spectator.

Throughout their time together, Braque and Picasso were searching for themselves, a reaction to the culture of the day.

There were questions about God, the subconscious, and life on the planet that all played a role in creating this new art. Analytical Cubism, beginning in 1907, visually laid out what the artist thought was important about the subject rather then just mimicking it. Body parts and objects within the picture were broken down into geometric shap

When I Googled a bit on cubism looking into wikipedia ....

because I regocnized the light in your picture not so much as cubism but from some years earlier. And I found a link interesting to me - and perhaps to you?!.,

    http://www.aucegypt.edu/faculty/sedgwick/trad/index.html

    http://www.aucegypt.edu/faculty/sedgwick/t...book/index.html

Your picture is "wonderful"! You can say that so easy and not. Because there is a traditon behind Cubism if you are searching for its roots stretching back to.... not trying to tell it this time... :D

So what I am missing in your picture is some tin can with some "wonderful" Cambell´s Soup

or something like that... just to do it a little more complicated... :D

    http://www.turnpoint.net/wireless/cantennahowto.html

  11. Nice image Mr Keates you have done...

Well - messing about in Photoshop you are telling us - I thought it was forbidden here on the Artistic Rendering forum - :D - just a little joke - hope you understand that! after having heard myself that Photoshopping is not the right thing...

Well this time it is only A:M from my side. I had to have a try myself - with the new hair paint technique - a bit dark - but some green and a little red and yellow - nothing to comment on - just a try...

    post-48-1111196689.jpg

  12. To me it seems a bit paranoic with this Ignore Button!

Why not invent a Recognize Button?

It will assure you that you only are meeting the ones having the same view as you.

And why not go a step further and invent an Only Me Button - the OM Button

so you only can listen to yourself and are totally assured not meeting anything your own I can take offense of!

Hope You understand I am trying to make a joke of someones delight in the Ignore Button hoping we can communicate instead with a bit of humor.

    :D

A link trying to occupy your valuable time a bit:

    http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c...TL&type=science

Perhaps it can get your imagination going - modeling and animating - or just ignore it... trusting your own prejudicies.

    :D

  13. That's the problem with going off topic so much, people trying to find any gems you post just give up trying. .

    Thanks for answering!

What is belonging to a topic or not - you can always dispute...

Concrete can also be gems when trying to build a foundation...

We can have a common ground - let us look for that ground

though being different - doing our own models and animations

That was what I was trying to say.

Perhaps we do not have to dispute on this more....

    Thanks again for answering!

    :D

  14. Mr. MM,

I've read all your posts here in the forum.

    Best,

    Rodney

    Thanks for reading my posts!

Well I can understand the ones going mad

then someone coming telling them to sit down on their bottoms

    trying to loose their I:s

to model and animate a little better.

We do not want to listen to that shit! anymore let us invent the Ignore-button.

Really creative.... perhaps they are missng something! Who knows?

Well most people want to expand their I:s - the I is so demanding - if they cannot climb Himalaya, they try do dive to the bottom of some deep sea grave, or doing some good coocking or modeling/animating in A:M or buying a new motor bike and all other alternatives.

But to do this a little better you better sit down on your ass for some minutes every day and you will find a new world to use to relate all those stuff your I is demanding from you. Some kind of an absolute world. But you cannot explain it - it is - do it yourself - that counts.

And to get others to sit down you have to talk a bit about religion, natural science, politics, coocking, climbing, diving, animating, modeling, about everything and nothing and somethings inbetween the opposites.

It is called dialectics and it is old stuff from India, going to Greece, to the rest of the sun-sattellite... to all thinkers and feelers. But dialectics it is just a philosophy words - you cannot use it so good to model and animate - you have to sit down yourself going behind some "one word" you have put up to meditate on - or there are other ways - what is the sound of clapping with one hand? - or you can just using nothing to meditate on - just sitting.

Here you can read about dialectics for kids: :D

    http://home.igc.org/~venceremos/whatheck.htm

Better try to communicate I think... reading each other posts or skipping them or... and meditating over what others have written - not just only getting upset... inventing buttons to ignore each other! Well things are a changing. Tomorrow no one knows.

  15. It is beginning to look as van Gogh... not bad...

    It is decorative... and expressiv...

An animation with some music to it could be nice...

There is lip-sync in A:M but music sync is still missing...

A little C-coding of some bright one and we could have that too?

I am waiting for your .prj-file to have a try myself...

    :D

  16. I've been thinking of changing my login name to "R" just to spite you and Mr. Mystery Man though.

Mr. Mystery Man it must be me?!., Nice someones are talking on this topic. The other ones are very silent now. Perhaps it is best to keep your big mouth shut. Perhaps I ought to have kept my big mout shut - too.

The thing is I believe not that my identity was mystic. It was my thoughts that were mystic. My topic GOD?!., were mystic. Most of the people here were not used to discuss that topic or trying to comment on my modeling and animating on that topic.

Well I am not so mystic... I have been out drinking some glasses of beer together with an old friend of mine discussing the same issues as in the topoc GOD?!.,

Our conclusion after six glasses were: It is not easy!

Trying to understand my thinking and feeling you can read what I have written on composing in another topic - ending with now it is time to go to the loo sitting down to meditate on composing. Going to the loo everyone understands that is not so mystic.

OK! Perhaps you think what I have written is shit! Perhaps it is gold?!., You are welcome to read it and give your own thoughts on the subject:

    http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...=15entry91817

    :D

And as Mr Hegemann writes do not talk so much - better do something...

Perhaps he is right - I have to have a little discussion with him. Welcome!

    :D
