There isn't enough from your description to guess what's wrong yet.
When I do [New] [Dope Sheet], I type in the words, click okay, and then this is what my time line looks like:
But in the book and video there is another area under the wave form for lineing up the words that looks like this:

I'm using AM 15.03 on a Mac Pro and I'm having a problem with getting this exercixe started. When I bring my time line up the entire time line is filled with the wave form from the sound file. I don't have the space under the wave form for the words from the dope sheet. I don't see in the book, or the online tutorial, how you bring up this other window.

Are the these 2006 versions the most recent manuals that are out there? And does anyone know if there might be newer versions in the works?

I'm in the Bowling Green area over here in the Northwest corner of Ohio.

Hey jason, I downloaded this prj and saved as a text file to a .prj format, but it doesn't want to open. There's some big blocks of code that look a little strange as well. Anyone else download and open this okay?
I got the same thing. Clicking on the link opens another browser window with a list of code in it.

Thanks everyone! It looks like TAOA:M manual skips telling you about a few of these items. Or at least they don't tell you early on when you're trying to walk through things. Your tips are making it a lot easier.

I'm going through the second exercise, and I'm having an impossible time moving the actors into position. With an actor selected, moving the mouse left or right moves the actor left and right. Moving the mouse up or down moves the actor forward and back. How do I move the actors up and down? I'm sure its something stupid that I'm over looking, but I can't see it. Is there an easy way to select an actor when there are multiple models in the choreography, and is there an easy way to work with moving things around?

Thanks guys. This works just fine.

I have Animation Master 15.0b (Universal), and I'm using it on a Dual-Core Intel Mac Pro running OS X Leopard version 10.5.7. I installed AM from the disc. Now when I try to launch AM I get an error message that says "Please Run Program With the Current Subscription CD In The CDROM drive!"
Is it possible to run AM from the hard drive without keeping my Super Drive tied up by always needing the disc in it?
