Great work.

It is really an impressive image !!!

Very nice work Stian ! Your render is better each time. Your MCLaren model is awesome too, I like it.
-
Great work Mark !!!!
Your lobster animation is very good and the movements are fine and fluid.
Good luck in this contest.

Thanks for your comments.
Chris, I agree with you, the man movements are less convincing. He misses speed and fluid.
How do find the TMS2 rig handles with characters as complex as her? With TSM2 it is very easy to made complex rigs. You can add what you want with the parts builder. When your rig is ready, you can move the scorpion body as you want and each legs keep in their position. Great !

Hi all,
My name is Fabrice Favé, I live in France and I am 36 years old. For this animation, I used A:M v11.0 and TSM2.
A screenshot showing two TSM2 rig.
For the man, I used a TSM2 normal biped and for the scorpion woman , I chose the multiped rig and some parts for woman body (arms, head).

I don't know if WeightMover can replace Smartskin for all the situations but I think WeightMover is perfect to weight hi-resolution models.
-
These internals patches are the proxy mesh used by WeightMover. It is a great solution for making smoothly bending joints. You can hide or delete the low-resolution proxy.

Looks very nice and realistic! Good work Yves.

Thank you very much all,
Rodney:
I put a sun light at the top of the object with these options:Where did you put the light?Width : 800 cm
Shadows:
Rays cast : 50
Darkness : 60
And for the rendering, I made 36 passes.
Xtaz:
Did you use porcelain ? If yes .. how do you do whit the 5 points ?No I don't use porcelain, here the wireframe:

There isn't a lot 5 points, only in connections:

A corkscrew made in A:M v11.0. I tried to reproduce Gobal Illumination lighting with only one light.

Really impressive!!! Great work

Thanks Yves,
But I have the same color in specular color and diffuse color. (R100%,G100%,B100%). I think the red came to the Simbiont silver.
I will remake a render with less specular intensity.
bakerrod:
I made all models today but they are simple to model.
-
Thanks,
I used Soft Reflections for the Teapot and the candlestick with this values:
Specular Size : 200
Specular Intensity : 180
Reflectivity : 70
Reflection Blend : 50
For the color, I combined those attributs with the Simbiont Metal silver tarnish.
Render time 3H50 (16 pass)
Athlon 1800 256 Mo

You need upgrade to A:M 2004, this feature is available in A:M v11 Beta.
Today, I used Reflection Blend, Soft Reflections and Light Attenuation for making a new image. I tried to reproduce silver surfaces.
Fabrice.
-
Excellent ! A great feature for making realists surfaces. The light attenuation is very useful also.
Thanks Yves.

Again a superb character! Thanks for posting the wireframe, I'm impressed to see the hooks and the 5 points patchs without creases.
Great work Jim.

Hello all,
Here my latest character. I tried to reproduce Shaak Ti, a female Jedi in Starwars Episode II.
