  1. Ok so ive ran TSM2 plugin, and got a skeleton, inserted it into my character, and everything works just fine, except when i placed the bones in the hand i had 3 control bones, then when i run the Rigger plugin, now i only have 1 bone per finger, and i cant open and close the hands naturally. So is this an option i missed in my skeleton setup? Do i have to re-rig from scratch or can this be fixed?
  2. oh and also, how do i make this porcellin material?
  3. thanks for the help guys! i actually just ordered bill youngs face modeling and face rigging CDs from anovin studios, so i look forward to following that! also i have been snooping around other peoples face models, and ive been clicking on CPs, then checking their bias settings, and i have notice the alpha and gamma are usually at 0, and in MAG and out MAG are 100% is this mostly true, or is it all relative to other things too broad to generalize?
  4. Yes I have seen other models use hooks, havent quite got the hang of that yet, It feels better to know its not just me, thx!
  5. so I am brand new to using hash patches, and am getting the hang of it except, in modeling my faces in the shaded view I'm seeing alot of small bumps, and some undesireable creating. Does everyone have problems with this when they start and is it just practice ? I've been using 3 point patches sparingly and trying to smooth things out... Any tips?
  6. Maybe the cps aren't turning green, like when I lasso the first group, so I think its not working... Thx for the help!
  7. hey guys I'm new to the program purchased about a week ago, I'm a 2d guy making the move from anime studio, so far I've been blown away by how easy its been for me to learn. However in most of my other programs to add points to a selection, I just hold shift with those old points selected, then select those points I want to add, and they are added to my selected group. I've noticed this doesnt work for me in AM, is there a way to do this? Sometimes lassoing doesnt work well, and as I'm building a face model I want to create groups like inner mouth etc and give those groups a diff color, but its hard to select the right points without this feature. Any tips?
