  1. yeah man its 100% stand alone(modeling, animating, rendering), easy to use, etc. i would recommend it to anyone just getting in to 3d, it has e3very thing pretty much right in your face so you do have to search for every thing, the community's great too.

to tell the truth i thought animation master was just for animation when i first got it lol, i was wondering that all the way home while i was looking at he box....

btw no apologies man, were all cool here:)

thanks for the response, I see a copy of Am on ebay. I just have convince the wife to bid on it for me. I don't deal with ebay but she gets dolls and jewelry and is very plesed with her buys.

  2. Iclone looks to be a poly program whereas AM uses splines. You can export from AM, but there are a few hoops to jump through and even then you're only getting the mesh.....no bones etc etc. A shame you spent all your budget on that before finding AM. How did you hear of AM?

I saw a forum about it at Renderosity.com, so it caught my eye. Please forgive ignorance, do you need to model characters from an application like Maya or hexagon or a similiar 3d program to create a original character to use in AM?

  3. I have been toying around with a number of programs, recently I purchased a program called iclone studio. Do any of you know if AM is along the same line of program, well assuming you might know what iclone studio is. Anyway, it seems that it might have been wiser if I had found the program, AM first. Right now, it is not within my budget to purchase AM. But I intend to someday. I will keep exploring the forums and learning what I can. Thanks for aany advice in advance. Have a good day.
