Nice Robin! and I'm not just talking about the addition of sound. You've got some nice facial animation going.
Fix the white/eye protruding artifact above the eye... give him a gun (or other inspired prop) and that's just about perfect.
Hey Rodney,
Check him out now!!!! Dirty Harry's got nothin on Dirty KeeKat!
Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks and thanks. I'll repost him after I've tweaked him some more

- when you click and drag the sound file over to the model after you create a new action it automatically freezes the program.
Instead of dragging the sound over the model, try dragging it down into the Action folder in the PWS.
THIS WORKED!!!!!!!!!!! I got KeeKat to do Clint Eastwood! It's hysterical. Thanks so much!!!!! Robin

Thanks, I'll try yours and the other 2 suggestions and see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Robin,
Wow. First let me say when you catch up... your REALLY catch up!
It'll take me a little while to look through.
But now I have a problem. Now that I got KeeKat to speak, I want to practice on other models but everytime I install a new sound and try to associate it, A:M freezes up. I was able to get one .wav file attached, but could not get the mouth to move. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We're going to need a little more information.
It might help to know which models you are using... keep in mind not all models have phonemes set up for lipsync. TaoA:M will guide you through that too.
A:M locking up on you... not sure.
Recommend closing A:M and restarting.
Hi Rodney,
Thanks, I hope you like them. I can't believe how much fun this software is! I can't wait to learn it all so I can start teaching my students.
A big oops, I didn't realize that all the models didn't have lipsync phonemes. I was trying to use the Pilot and the Announcer from the Extra's CD and I think I even tried Eddie once.
As for the locking up, I've done as you suggested (restarting the program). I've even rebooted on several occasions but pretty much every wav file I've installed and tried to drag over to an action still freezes A:M. I thought at first the file I was using was corrupted, but when it happened with 3 or 4 I began to doubt that, especially since I was getting them from different sources - even creating them myself. Maybe I'm just not installing the wav files correctly into A:M.

Hi, I just finished assignment 7 and wanted to practice with other models. I've downloaded and installed different .wav files and the one and only time I could get the .wav file to "attach" to the model I couldn't get the mouth to move. All other times I've tried to attach the files A:M immediately freezes and I have to reboot my system. If anyone has any ideas I sure could use the help. Thanks, Robin
You're using a terminology that I'm unfamiliar with. How do you "attach" a wav file to a "model"? You import sound files (.wav extension) into your Sound folder that's in your Project Work Space (PWS). You then drag and drop that file in your Chor. or Action window.
Sorry, that's what I meant to say - when you click and drag the sound file over to the model after you create a new action it automatically freezes the program.

So I figured out that you had to convert .avi's to .mov's to get them to upload - here are the next 4 assignments, and a couple others thrown in that I've been playing with.
