astronut
I just uninstalled my old version 13 and installed version 15 and now when I select help all I get is the pop-up dialog box that says "failed to launch help". Anyone know what is going on and how to fix??
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted August 3, 2009 Hash Fellow Share Posted August 3, 2009 Hi Astronut, Welcome to the A:M forum! you got two choices... - you can copy the master.chm file from your V13 folder to your V15 folder. (You can have V13 and V15 installed simultaneously with no conflict.) Of course it doesn't have info on new V15 features, but 95% of it is the same. - you can download the new help from this page, unzip it, and put the file in your V15 folder. However, this new help file is really a set of PDF files, not the usual HTML-style file that was in V13. Martin said the company that compiles the HTML-style help went broke so Hash had to switch to a PDF manual for the help file. It still is searchable, but I've noticed a few of the page numbers in the index are in error. Of course if you have questions about A:M, this forum is a good place to ask too.
