Standard Group Manipulator

So I'm working through the flower tutorial.

After drawing my line with 7 control points, and clicking the lathe, I wanted to adjust them.

Every time I try to group a line of cp's it's always leaving one or two control points out. and therefor cause my stem to disform.

Does anyone know what I can do about this so it'll change the way it groups?

I just tried to click on one of the control points, and pushed the forward slash key on my keyboard and it still didn't group the whole stem.

I'm wondering if I have need to go into the properties and the default is not set.

So so frustrating.

I can't go on, because I can't even move the whole stem. Grrrr.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You Gentlemen are so wonderful.

Thank you so much.

Sorry for such a dumb question.

I know that you guys probably get these questions a zillion time.

But that's for helping me out.
