I didn't like how it went so high so I modified it.....
It looks really good but I think the anticipation part of the action is a little too long. I really like the quick attack part though.

Im with Jeetman...the anticipation for the strike needs to be a little less time and the strike need to be the key focus!
The walk cycle looked pretty good.

Looks promising, I think the lighting is damping your efforts.
It need some careful lighting to bring out the important shapes and lead our eye to the important part of the scene.
Lighiting is a whole field in itself but there's probably a good book out there on classic movie lighting.
I'm with robcat the lighting in your screenshots make the scene look kinda bleak.
Also there are books and video tutorials written tutorials everywhere.
