Clicking on a control point an adjusting it's magnitude can help. Also, make sure it's set to smooth and not peak.

Looking good! From his hips to his under-arms looks like it could use some work but I don't know your plans for this, of course. I would bring the belly down and maybe give him a little pot-belly and maybe some formation in the butt area. Can't wait to see him textured. Keep up the good work.

I've seen it before. It only supports images, .bmp to be exact. No support for .avi or .mov yet. Maybe in the future though.

Oh and here's a whole list for tweakinf XP. Be carefull when using the registry if you're a beginer. http://www.tweakxp.com/performance_tweaks.aspx

I have used a few different pc's in the last 12 years without a firewall or anti-virus until my 10th year, I got my first virus. I use an anti-virus program now when I'm online and I just started using a firewall when online as well do to microsoft reporting new flaws in windows. I wouldn't beleive all the hype about trojans and what not. Just don't download crap you don't need and use an email address that you know isn't on some one elses buddie list. Alot of virus get through by getting your email from some ones email list and it just passes around. Some of the computers I have fixed because some one said they had a virus or trojan had nothing to do with either or. Mostly some one messed with settings or downloaded a software made by a noobie and it messed with the registry. Although virus are common, just be smart and you can keep away from them.

Understandable, I just don't use the freeware dixv because of the adware and spyware. Nice sample though.

You might get more responses if you used .mov instead of divx.

First time seeing this, since I just joined recently. You're very talented. I think I'll stop on my first model and start a new one because of the inspiration ( I think I spelled that right ) of your work and I've learned a few things from my first model. Keep up the good work.

WOW! Very Nice!

I like how the spot light adds to the focus of your animation. Very nicely done, keep up the good work.

Nice work Parlo! I like it when he shuts the door. Seems like he realy wants someone to go and get him some coffee.

Thanks guys!

Well, here's a little progress on my fury little monster I've been working on. It's actually my first model in AM, damn splines...lol. I guess I'm starting to get a hang of the splines. Still needs legs and some other work. I like him so far without an actual nose but that might change once I start animating him. Will post when I get some more of him completed. Cheers
Oh ya, need to have it where the PNG format can be used as an attachment here. I don't like JPG compression.

I would like to make animations with voice acting, and I would like to get a decent quality microphone. Any suggestions?
M-Audio is coming out with a new mic this year that runs for $129 but you can find one cheaper that you might be more satisfied with. www.m-audio.com

Thanks Shaun - the latest version of the other clip is Here (QT, Sorenson3, 2.3mb). I'm in the process of re-building some of the mouth shapes so I'm leaving the lip sync tweaking till that's done. Otherwise it's pretty much done - as an exercise in subtlety I think it was quite successful. I've got to the stage with it that I can't tell anymore though, which always happens!
AHHH...wasn't expecting another clip already but I guess this one was a touch up of the one i haven't seen yet. Nice lip sync work and animation, looking really good.

Spent another hour or so on it this afternoon. Tidied up some of the poses etc. Getting him in and out of the door convincingly with those legs is proving a bit of a problem soving exercise....
Looking good, can't wait to see the lip sync.

Unable to play 6.
For window users, if #6 wants to open in media player you need the indeo plug-in. Quicktime offers this but you can use it in windows media player. Open media player and select the following: TOOLS, PLUG-INS, OPTIONS, ADD
Go to WINDOWS, SYSTEM32, ir50_32.dll and that's it.

I'm not sure what's going on but I'm having a heck of a time downloading these. Maybe it's just the traffic to the Hash server. I'll try again tomorrow.
Are these on the mirror site so we can DL them from there too since we know that the mirror is much faster?
I'm only downloading at 8-10kb when I usually download at 79+kb. It might be because everyone is trying to download at the same time.

hey, are we all supposed to watch every one of the animations before voting? How does everyone do it? Just let them download overnight and watch them the next day?
-Andrew
I'm watching them all now.

I learned this lesson some time ago. Not with AM but another program. What I do is save to where ever I usually save and then make a folder in my documents, in this case named "AM", and save my backup there. I don't do this on every save but if I loose this main file some how, I don't have too much work to do on my backup. Oh ya, lets see the WIP.

Looked pretty good here.

Are you planning on stuffing the ballot box by having all you friends sign up so they can vote for you?!?
LOL, no, I was just wondering how to participate in this.
