  1. I know that you can use a bone to add a boolean to a model but can you also use that to make the boolean become part of the model's geometry?

Also is there a function or plug-in to subdevide or add additional splines to a model easily rather than having to manualing adding all the CPs & stitching them together?

  2. What I need help with is within AI, how would I take the white parts of the picture, and lets say cut them out, so when I put it into A:M the red parts of the picture is the model, but the white parts are wholes.

Really, you can't because you're working with two diffrent types of pictures. When you pull a JPG into Ill it's a raster image (uses pixels for the image) but AI is vector based (uses lines link Flash does) what you need to do is when you haveht image in AI you need to retrace it using the pen tool. then when you export it out A:M will understand it.

I hope I understood your question enough to help. If not, let me know.

  3. There are the two bootcamps....of which the modeling one is completing the manual. I assume you've done that. I think you're pretty much qualified to get stuck in. Pick out something from the lists of things in the other threads and start making. Post a picture of it and you'll be directed.

I did but it seemed that my submission was ignored. (link)

Also, I saw these guidelines as far as submissions. (link)

Hey, I just want to help, that's all...

  4. Now that I'm back in town for a good while I would like to do what I can to help this project along.

I recognize that I'm not the best modeler or animator out there but I know that I could contribute in some ways. So I'm wondering if there is something I need to accomplish or some other prereq I need to have in order to be considered?

Any info would be very helpful. Thanx
