  1. Well i got the paint to look how i want it to thx to DUBlight but now if somone could tell me how to change that green to white. I looked at the link but i dont get it.

    MAN this is GREAT!!!

I got to give you your props.

You Started this back in JULY!!!!

Hard work really does pay off.

    Good Job.

    Very Inspiring!!!

  2. I got a Project that I'm working on and it would be nice to save a little time if somebody could post some Buildings.

    Thanks

THIS is the way I like to do it...

1- Go downtown...now, I'm a country boy so when I go downtown (Detroit for me) I'm knocked out by the tall buildings. It's much worse when I go to Chicago or Toronto...if I ever see New York I'll prolly die.

2- Shoot pictures at as Hi resolution as you can. As straight on as possible.

3- Use Photoshop to 'RE-square' the imagery using distorion tools. Retouch the crap out of it.

4- Also in Photoshop make art for your depth(bump or displace), reflection, ambiance (for backlights) as you see I did.

5- In Hash- use minimal geometry and lots of decals. Scale to taste.

I have more like this...will try to upload later...ENJOY!

    OK!

    Thanks!

  3. Hey there, thanx for the comment :D Here is a pic with the keylight set back to normal and without the volumetric effect on the rim.

As I said, I haven't textured the clothing and armor at all, just slapped on some surface attributes. The basic coloring scheme I think

I will use, though. Since I got the new A:M Paint this spring, I think I will use that to get the texturing done. I DO have a copy of ZBrush 3

I've been using for my lightwave models, but I'm kinda limited for time (working 70 hr + weeks at my day job) so I think I will just stick

with A:M Paint for now. Some quick test stuff I've done using it really impressed me (and was easy and fast). Hopefully I can get a

final textured model sometime soon. Since my work schedule has been so busy, I've just been creating short re-usable actions and

other short snippets of my animation instead of texturing.

Man that Amazing Progress from begining to end!

    Well done!

  4. OOOH! Cool action! Care to share your files?

Yes, A:M does use BVH files quite nicely...

HERE is a link to a test I did to see A:M's hair's secondary action with a BVH... http://campbellanimation.com/MoCAPtest.mov

HERE is a link to a test I made with a boxer model and a 'boxing' BVH file... http://campbellanimation.com/BoxerMoCapTest.mov

The method is straight forward. Make a new action for your (rigged)character, right clik on the new action and select 'New...BVH'...you will then be able to see the BVH skeleton and action in your action window.Scale the BVH to your character. You now need to 'constrain' your char to the BVH's skeleton... so grab a foot bone...give it an 'orient-like' and a 'translate to' constraints to the BVH's footbone and reposition accordingly... now do the other foot... pelvis, hands, torso, head...done!

That's the 'Reader's Digest' version, but it should be enough to get you started. Don't be intimidated, there's no brain surgery involved, and it's FUN!

Now...about sharing your BVH files(drool)... where did you get them?

    G'luck!

EDIT: AND...I just remembered...the animation in my avatar is from a BVH action as well!

    Also, I like your Animation!!!

How do you get the Hair to move Fluidly like that?

I have models with hair but i want it to move more realistic and fluid like yours.

Or do I have to just do it manually?

Quick Question...What does BVH Mean or Stand for!

  6. If the color is on a group in your model, you can access it by pressing the red X icon (show more than drivers) beside the shortcut to the model.

    Thank You!!!!

    Im Very Happy Now!

You Guys were a LOT of help!

This is my first tim posting here and it looks like it won't be my last!

    Thanks Again!

  7. I would REALLY like to know how to animate a simple Color change on my Model!

Open the model's propert in Chor. Move few frames. Change color of model.

    Oooooooooooooohh!

    Thanks a Lot : D

    That was a Great help!

I.ve been trying to figure that out for two days LOL!

    One more question...

Is their a way for me to change the color of a Specific part of a Models's body?

Like just the Model's Arm for example?

  8. Hello everyone! Didja miss me? ;)

Ok, I love the scene I got. It's simple, but fun.

I've just finished what I think is a pretty good pass at the lip-syncing. Tell me what you think!

    2_15_40_take1.mov

This is the first time I've lip-synced without a dope-sheet. I got tired of the trouble of arranging everything, I just went and used the pose sliders.

    Next up, facial expressions! :D

Well.. I would miss you If I knew you. lol : D

I was wondering if anyone knew how to animate color?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with an answer.
