Well, I'm at a boarding school. And I just may have the oppertunity to teach a course in animation master (10 hours of work per class)
Problem is, I need to learn AM in 4 1/2 months or less... Is that even possible? I've about convinced my school to buy 10 copies. (one of which will be mine) And I really want to learn and learn to teach amimation.
Any ideas on were to start? Can somone link me to all of the online VIDEO toturials?
And is 4 months even enough time.
I would lead four two-week classes. class would be structured in the following manner:
- Students will create and animate their own character
- Students will learn the basics of modeling and animation
- Students will add sound to their animation
Day 1: Introductory lesson. Learn the names of students, introduction to Animation Master. Begin Setting up a scene.
Day 2: Activity one: Use the scene they made yesterday to make the character do the Can-Can, a lesson in animation.
Day 3: Begin work on model
Day 4: Continue work on model
Day 5: Continue work on model
Day 6: Continue work on model
Day 7: Continue work on model
Day 8: Finish the model and begin a small animation
Day 9: Finish animation and add sound
Day 10: Finish project
Is that realistic?

Im in HS, can I still get a student ID?
-
I hesitaste to buy on ebay... oh well, looks like i'll be waiting a few more weeks
-
Is it possible ot make monthly payments on A:M? I'm going to have enough to buy it in a couple of weeks but I don't want to wait that long to order it. I relize this is silly cause A:M is only $300 compared to things like maya which go up to 7k. However I am a student and cannot afford somthing like that. (plus A:M looks way cooler)
So, to sum it all up, is there a monthly payment plan with or without interest? /me blushes

Noah is a really talented guy.
Different people learn at different rates, use differing methodologies and have varying time to devote.
If you feel comfortable collaborating and communicating with others that will help.
Be willing to make a lot of mistakes and learn from them is valuable too.
No one learns in a vacuum so the sooner you get into the thick of things the better.
The absolute easiest way to get to the Noah Brewer level is to hire him to work for you.
lol, and how much does his work go for?

Hello Hello, Mr. C here. I am a novice c++ programmer looking to get into animation. Ive always wanted to make my own 3d series/mini series and I think A:M will let me do it.

before I could make somthing like.... http://amfilms.hash.com/search/Entry.php?entry=1089 .... I learn fairly fast but I don't want to spend 2 years learning A:M befor I could pull somthing like that off...

how much does it cost to replace lost cds?
-
Also, what is the current version of A:M?
-
well, I like what I see, and the price you just can't seem to beat. Ive read alot of reviews, some really positive, some not so much. My biggest concern is that people are saying that it is unstable. Has that been fixed in the lastest versions? I'm 15 and I used to do animation in power point just for fun. I tryd maya at a friends but it was really hard to use and WAY out of my price range. Also, is there a return policy if the cd is defunct? thank you.
