Hi,

I just want to know if anyone has been able to animate a character modeled in Modo. Do I have to model everything AM? What are the Pros and Cons of doing otherwise?

Thanks,

Ernesto

The problem with importing poly models is the model comes into AM all creased. This is because splines/patches have more information associated with them to say what direction they are going in. Polys don't have this.

If however, you are modeling in splines and exporting to a spline based model format (is there any apart from .mdl?) then it might just work.

Thanks for the info KenH.
