  2. Normally singers know(and tell) their lowest- and highestkey, I hope it fits.

     

    The idea behind singing the lyric is; The first part 'I'm Mrs.Yoop, and I'm Lonely' should be firm/assertive and a little agressive, while the following lines 'explain' the feel and tell the story.

     

    As you can see in the picture(and hear in the song), bar 17 and 18 is played by the violin.

  3. It would be better if you could make up some melody & I could try (note the word TRY) & follow it.

     

    Yes, I will make a melody, like I said it wasn't to let you drown but let you sing freely considering the funny-voice Mrs.Yoop alteration.

     

    I hope my neighbours don't get any strange idea's, me wanting to wear panties, after they heard me sing the lyric... :)

    As I remember Mr.Suttons tutorial telling such area need more(exaggerated) decal-space.

    One way is keeping this in mind before, flattening and decal then afterwards 'fool' the decal-calculator-function giving the specific area alot of .tga-decal space in de uv-editor, it will lessen the distortion alot.

     

    Of course I hope too, to have 3D-painter someday...

  5. When it took off I was expecting that stretchy look, but it still looked good to me.

     

    If your goal is mostly the warp-trail:

     

    Setting up your cam with 100% Motionblur before building the scene is the large part of the trick.

    Now you can exactly determine the amount of trail you want through shifting the keyframes on the timeline.

     

    Make sure your scene has relative-depth(how large is one matchbox on-screen) and relative-speed(if (a=this speed && b=faster) wow what a (natural)speed).

    Thomas, I notice that some mediaplayers won't play the .MPG version this probably due the different or just wrong header caused by the converterprogram.

     

    Since you have v12 and the project-file is v13, let me know if you want a summarized explanation of what I did, this was also the reason I tried to post another version of the example-video.

     

    Vaguely I remember there's a Windows MediaPlayer for Apple available.

  7. The quicktime-plugin(version) probably doesn't support .wma, you could try downloading the .wma and play it in the quicktime-player, make sure you have the latest... if it still doesn't play, let me know, I make a quicktime.

     

    The project-file is for v13(n), that's the version I used and have installed.

  8. I may not be the right person to advise you...

     

    I think Walt Disney had already Masters that have the ability to give life through a pencil.(Of course making funny story-(elements) is a different discipline) They did hired apprentices for tweeners and some of them became Masters themselves.

     

    I think the guys at Pixar do something similar, they don't really care how you learned to draw, but can you now? If you show them you're a magician they eventually will ask you to use 'their' choice of magicbox.

     

    Nowadays it maybe wise to have different skills.

  9. I am making it up as I go, so I don't know if it's do-able...but for realistic snow the next approach may apply.

     

    Use snow-flake geometry, add a bone, tell bone don't go below Y-axis 0, use newton-dynamics for the weight and add some wind-generators and probably flocking can save you the enormeous amount of work...

     

    Some inner-voice tells me already it's not do-able...

     

    If it does work, you may want to use cloth and deflectors, to prevent the snowflakes going through things you don't want...
