  1. Name: Stephen Molloy

    Exercise #7

    Date: March 19 2006

Instructor : online video and book

Remarks: i had to make a few changes to the Kat to make easier to render ( i deleted all the materials and coloured the skin .....this made a huge time difference from 9 hours to 22 mins ...i also turned reflections off)

i did have a problem with sound and have no idea how to fix.

now the sound is playing only on the left side in the rendered video ....(it plays in both sides in the project)...and another weird thing is if you hit the rewind button on the Quicktime the sound is playing in the rightside.

Has anyone else had problems with sound playback ...

ps the sound was set at default stereo 44,100 hz ....

Thanks Robert-Jank....the walk at first was sooo missed up ( feet sliding and the arms where cued on the wrong foot )

i hope it looks better now...

  4. hi all, this is my first time posting in this forum. Just got the program 2 weeks ago.

my problem was that my Olympus camera shot video in 8bit only( 640 x480 15fps) which i hoped to use in A:M , but was not supported

A:M only supports 24 / 30 ...which is fine , but that just left me with the HOW to convert.

ok as a last resort i paid for the quicktime pro. 6.5 upgrade

after trying all kinds of exporting to a folder ...( high to low quality) still no answer i was geting 1000 bit files ( in A:M now but all in black )

ok so it hit me ...open file ...save as ( change name, in to the same folder) and presto chango it's now 24 bits and useable

i hope i could help any one fighting the low res files to get in to A:M :)

i also like to thank Hash support team and opening my eyes on the whole 24bit thingy
