Thanks Mark. Now I can make sure that I have them all.

Is there a list of all the issues that TWO has been in thus far. I would like to be able to make sure that I have all of them, even if I have to order back issues.
-
That's one good looking shot you have there. Can't wait to the the animation of it.

downloaded and ready.

I am working on this shot. I haven't started the face yet, as I had to re-download my files this weekend after my computer decided to have a bad attitude. I am really trying to get that regal feeling to him as he has just spoken to his subjects and I want him to snap forward to look down on our heroes.

Hey Guys,
Unfortunately, I didnt find this til late. I cant make this one, but hope to be able to start attending the next meeting. Hopefully I will have some work to show.
-
I just found out last night that I am not going to be able to attend after all. We are closing on our house the friday before the trip and I get to spend my Memorial day weekend moving and painting and renovating now.
Have a great time everyone. I am jealous.

Welcome to the club Bruce. You are joining the ranks at a great time, with so much going on that you can learn from and be involved with.
Good luck in your endeavors.

I constrained the axe to the hand. I wasnt sure about the orient like, but will add that to it as well.
-
I am running into a problem with the TW's Axe. I put a Translate To constraint on the rain hand bone controller this way when I animate the hand and arm the axe would go with it. I have the enforcement set 100, but when I move the hand the axe doesn't stay with it at all. it moves independently of the hand even though the constraint is on. Do I also have to add an Orient Like constraint as well?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Ken, I will give that a shot.

I am have tasked with this shot. I have the lip sync laid in and have continued on to work one character at a time. One thing I found was I posed TW in the action thinking it would translate over to the chor., but it didnt. So I have to go in and repose him in the chor and finish his animation. Also, TW's sound clip steps over the others and says the complete line. I tried animating the volume and even the mute on the sound file but to no success. SC and Woot just have their lip sync done and I will be posting animation of them later today. I also had to turn off the background in the chor as when I try to render out a shot, my crash can't handle all of it. (Damn, I knew I should have upgraded this thing by now)
2_03_003_take.mov Chor
TW_WIP.mov TW
SC_WIP.mov SC
WOOT_WIP.mov WOOT
More to follow later today

The only problem I see is that I havent upgraded yet. I have to wait til this Friday to place my order.
-
Thanks Martin. One other question though, I see the Proxies there, but how do I switch over to the real models. They arent in the file, I see them in the library but how can I replace the proxies with the real ones

I am having a problem with Seq 03. When I open the file and go to the actions, The FACE rigs are missing from Woot and Scarecrow and the Tin Woodsman's is messed up and missing things. There isnt any Phoneme sets for Woot or SC. I have tried deleting thos files and re-downloading them but its the same. I also just updated my shared data right before I opened the scene to work on.

Uploaded to SVN; now to start on the next assignment.

Here's a quick update. The running goose should be finished today, after I drop my car off to the shop and meet with my realtor again. Boy, life has gotten really crazy lately. I cant wait for it to calm down.
-
Another WIP Update. I added in Ken's suggestions and also brought the goose up to a higher level so that the second one and run at the door. I think it is definitely coming along and is really making me stretch my skills and think about things.
Next up, the running one...
-
Here's a quick WIP Update. I still have to add some more head and neck movement once the goose hits the door and have to move him up more so that the other one can run into the door. I hope to get the running one roughly knocked out in a little bit so that I can refine and finish up this take on this shot. This shot being fun is also driving me

Any idea on when v14 will move out of beta. I am getting ready to upgrade in the next couple of weeks, but want to make sure that I dont end up waiting to get mine before I can continue to work.
-
Got mine last night as well. I have to wait a few more days before I can order, but the images looked fantastic.
-
That's what I am hoping to accomplish Dhar. I want to get the flying one out of the way first. I have been watching reference video of geese running and flying and such for this scene.
-
I am working on the quick shot of the geese crashing into the door. I am posting an initial WIP, though, it is extremely rough and I will be changing some things already. This is a very quick shot, weighing in at just a litte over a second long. There are two geese in the shot, but one is hidden right now, so that I can concentrate on one at a time.
I also wanted apologize to everyone involved in the film. I was tasked to get this shot done over a week ago, but as I talked to Martin, I was extremely sick, to the point of being hospitalized overnight. I have finally kicked the bug, although my chest still hurts and I am ready to get back to work. I am hoping that nothing will come between me and my work again, and I will do my best to make sure that it doesnt happen, so that I dont hold all of you hard working people up.
Thanks
Leo

Thanks for the compliments again everyone. I want to do some AO lighting eventually, right now I am working on TWO and planning some other stuff. I want to go back and model pieces with beveled edges to help with lighting. I also plan on modeling the Star Destroyer, but not the MINI one. I am going to attempt the full scale collectors version they released. In looking at the instruction booklet online, I have to be very careful about the modeling due in fact to the large scale of pieces involved. The patch counts could and will get out of hand very quickly so I am researching each page and making notes on what pieces I can skimp on detail and which ones I want to go full detail on. I plan to start modeling this one soon.

It really wasnt a project, more of just wanting to model some legos and just looking at what I had on my desk at the time. I will post links this weekend where you can download them.
