... It doesn't seem that you could use AM models as 3-D actors in magpie, so... anyway, I draw a blank at that point.
You can use a facial poses prerendered in A:M instead the graphics by defaults of Magpie Pro.
-
Copy/paste from: http://www.thirdwishsoftware.com/magpiepro...rt_formats.html
Exports an action file that can be imported into a Hash Animation Master project. Pose sliders in the Animation Master project must match the Magpie Pro actor pose names.Note: recent versions of Animation Master replaced action files with a newer file format, but they continue to import the older action files.
-
Tip:
Configure the rendering options like this:
- Quality: Shaded
- Show Back Facing Polys: OFF
The model will show the inverted faces like holes.
-
You must to flip the inverted normals before exporting.
-
A:M includes a good built-in .3ds exporter.
-
Yeah thats fine with me... thanks for doing it. I'm going to add the interface for my website eventually but I have to change it to match the background... feel free to translate it. and thanks for doing it...
Thank you, Colin

Hi Ernesto!
If your project won't load or crashes, try opening the file in a text editor (notepad p.e.) and deleting everything between [WINDOWPLACEMENTS] and [ENDWINDOWSPLACEMENTS]. (as seen on "Animation:Master" 2002 A Complete Guide" by David Rogers)
I hope that it works.
See you in the Cole3d

The Jeff Lew's models (greendude and yellowdude) may be interesting, their rigs are a very good alternative for study.
I would like to see in the CD the Yves Poisant's skylights (updated), a offline version of The JSL Skylight Rig Utility of Jeff Lee and more free and demo plugins (Emilio Le Roux, Steffen Gross, Simbiont, Marcel Bricman, Anzovin, Artbox, Walasek, etc. with their respective tutorials, of course).

I like it, a character with a lot personality.

Original idea John, I like it

Done.

Looks great. Can you put the render times?
Some test with forces (wind) and dinamics?

Hi Rogelio,
In the user properties of the model (Project Workspace>objet folder>your model), click on the pose and delete it. That´s all!
The User Properties is the final item of the list.
example:
Model1
Bone Position
Transform
File info
Surface
Options
User Properties>Pose1
Good luck!

I would like to thank you for the most complete Character modeling online tutorial, IMHO, for A:M. I'm a Cole3d.net member and another spanish forums (www.foro3d.com of the 3d site: 3dpoder.com and others) where I proposed to a fellow to translate the "Cooper Tutorials" like a very useful contribution to the A:M spanish speaking community. Cole3d.net has translated to spanish a lot of A:M material (tutorials, manuals and general documentation about the program and features) by permission of Hash Inc. however we would like to thank you about your permission for the translations.
The updated link is: http://www.cole3d.net/curso/frintro.htm
The "Cooper tutorials" was translated by Daniel Brites Rodríguez and Iara Brites Mackluf (his daughter)

Jesús Mariño.

Yes, it's possible to import .bvh.
See how in:
Motion Capture Tutorial (by William Sutton).
A very good guide.

I have the solution, you can install QT 6.x again, no problems again. Download the updated VP3 codecs here Good luck!

Thanks for the answer, Yves. I will hope patiently.

Hi,
My question is: I can to use the turbulence and materials available in the Downloads page of Yves Poissant's site in A:M 10.5 versions? or only in v.8.5?
