Name: Dennis Wheatley
Exercise Completed: Exercise 5 take a walk
Date Completed: August 15, 2006
Instructor: manual and online video tutorial
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: Okay lesson learned about constantly saving your work. Had the walk cycle almost done when the system locked up. And I am not happy with the transition between the walk cycle and the wave. I think it has something to do with the path ease. I sure it will get better with practice.

Hi Everyone. My name is Dennis and I am brand new to AM and 3D in general, but I am a Big Fan of any kind of animation. I have had AM v12 since March, but because of work and school I am just getting starting into it now and really enjoying it. I am finding it very easy to learn and I hope to be making a few of my own characters after I do the tutorials. I do have some questions about things here but I will find the appropriate forums for those. As for now, back to playing with AM.

Hi guys. I jumped ahead one lesson here cause I wanted to play around with lesson 7 a bit, but I am getting an error. Cant find the dictionary.dic file when I load the dope sheet. I know the video tutorial said it was on the cd, but I can’t find it there either. I did a search on both the disk and my hard drive but I don’t seem to have this file. Does anybody know more about this? I have the Am version 12 upgraded to v13e. Appreciate any help you can give me.
Update: After hunting around in Hash Inc.'s ftp site I located the file that was missing. it seems to be working fine now. Back to playing around with it.
