Yes it is realy weird, and yes some people will find it stupid and others funny, some will say the animation is shit and others will say its good.
Not trying to offend anyone, but i don't give a shit weather people like it or not, this thing just came out of me. Basically ive always found it funny how gay people (in my personal experience) think the whole world is gay.

"AVI mp4" I didn't know that was a Microsoft option.
Is the final video file an .mp4 file?
Did you use square pixils at 425 x 350?
What frame rate did you use?
Did you use Quicktime to compress the video or something else?
I have Vegas and can use MainConcept Mp4 or Quicktime, neither gives me an AVI. I guess I'll have to experiment.

if you mean the orinal its mpeg2, the video i uploaded to youtube was 700x390 25fps, i used ulead media studio pro. chose avi and went into options to use mp4 as the compressor.
ive just looked at a software that comes with xp called music and video generator it allows you to export a qt as an avi.

Great improvement over pt 1, you put a lot of time and energy into this and it shows.
Might want to warn people it's not very kid-friendly.
to be honest there was far less energy put into part 2 as to part one, if anyone wants to see the difference skills and a better understaning of AM has on an animation just compare VM1 and VM2

Great spoof, I loved it! There wasn’t a long list of credits so I assume you did it yourself, that is quite an epic. Some really nice models and sets.
One question, what codec did you use when you uploaded it to youtube? Even using a lossless codec, after their compression, I seem to get a lot of distortion. Your’s looks great.

Glad you liked it, but it looks ten times better in mpeg2 16:9. Since I still suffer with dial up, my house doesn't get high speed, i can't display it in its original glory.
The format i used was avi mp4 format, its a bit tricky to get it right since it seems to work well on high res but awful in low res.
oh and yes i did make it all myself.

Does anyone know of a site that offers free storage for animation files and AM models, my site is running out of room!
Ofcourse what is free there is no guarantee, but i thought id ask anyway.

You can add many objects to an action, in my animation vibro man, i created an action of a droid blowing up then i added to that action the same droid ten times each blowing up.
i then added the action to ten droids in the chor which resulted in 100 droids exploding, you can see the results which only last for a few seconds in vibro man at www.koumis.com
in your situation create and action in which 3, 4 or more skaters are moving around you may want to loop them.
then in your chor have only 3 or more skaters add the action to each model and you will have a ring full of skaters.

actually thats what i should of asked, does any one know of an animation that has cloth animation that is close to shrek? anything on AMfilms?

thanks for your responses, just as i suspected, there is no way animators on shrek would spend so much time trying to work out all this cloth stuff, i hope one day AM can some how create a push button approach to cloth, though im not a programmer i think this would a huge achievement.

After seeing shrek2 i was blown over by the amount of detailed cloth and hair animation.
So i had to ask does anybody know if the cloth process of shrek 2 is much easier than that of AM?

Animation Master was the 2nd 3d app I've used and will be the last, for I see no reason to sell my car to buy an other package that does nothing more and at times less than AM. At $299 its unlimited power even an artist can afford!!

I have worked out that if i move any other running program window in a reduced state it breakes the dead lock? strange!
It looks like I'll have to report it to hash and hope this isn't a one in a million problem. Once again thanks all for the responses.

Well ive added the latest version problem persists, it happens on all projects and it is random.
Ive switched off my graphics card and the problem won't go away!
I have no idea how im going to solve this one! But thanks all for your repsones

I have just recieved the latest version of AM, and have been struck by a big glitch I can't work around. Reguardless of what setup I use to render AM almost always pauses for a long time, it might render 5 frames then pause for 4min then start again. Even when doing a render lock it always pauses for a very long time.
Im using XP home edition, 3ghz, 500mb ram.
If anyone has any ideas or experience something similar I would be most greatful.

I use an old version of AM2000 ive gone from one pc to an other and have alway installed it with no problem. However on my most recent installation I get the following error:
Please run program with AM2000 CD in cd rom drive ERROR V
If any one could please help me since i need to finish of a job that I have started in my old pc!

well it was a very long time ago and it was a very funny experience. They simply thought or tried to convice people that the whole world was gay and that i was confused. They were so confident that i was gay, even though i had never found a man in my whole sexualy attractive.
