a photo of a model iv done?

Im having big probs when i render.. i made a model with small yet amazing detail but when i render it, its hardly visable. how (when i render) do i get it to look more realistic. its really hard for me to explain this

Lol yea thats the one iv seen iv messed around with sabe and got it looking really good.. up close.. but far away it looks really bad. plus behind sertaint back grounds and lights detrmins how the glow looks

Hey I really need to know if anyone knows how to make a realistic saber. iv asked this and i keep getting the same tutorial, and the saber looks nothing like the movies.. i want to know if it is posible to make a light saber almost identical to the movie
