Name: Doug Fall
Exercises Completed: Seven
Date Completed: June 22
Instructor: Rodney and the book
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: Did fairly well with the animation - ended up rendering in shaded format - over an hour otherwise and my laptop overheated about 70% of the way through twice in a row - not sure what I am going to do about that (maybe "Honey, I think we need another computer" or something original like that) I will have to say the dopesheet was a snap though I can imagine there are limitations also

I like the look of him a lot - with the right voice he could be hilarious, if that is the intention. He kind of looks like one of the Wilson brothers in "The Royal Tennenbaums.

Name: Doug Fall
Exercises Completed: Six
Date Completed: June 7, 2005
Instructor: Rodney and the book, which turns out to be pretty helpful for this exercise.
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: I would have to state that 1) This one was a lot harder than the others and 2) I learned a huge amount - from editing the channels and making keyframes to sound, which I experimented a bit with. And I actually figured out how to cut between cameras during a scence (which is actually the same camera just moved about with a few keyframes providing the timing. I have about 6 other versions of Shaggy opening a door which I was not happy with, but this one actually makes me laugh, so without further ado...
To anyone who actually downloads this - make sure you have your sound turned up a bit
Rodney - I rendered this in the "low" resolution and it is still 6MB - if i load it back into A:M and export it as a DIVX the sound is missing. When I rendered it straight into a DIVX avi there were several very noticeable hesitations in the movie which halted the sound and the video for a fraction of a second several times - very annoying...

Excercise Completed: #5 Take a Walk
Date Completed: June 2, 2005
Remarks/Suggestions: I actually have #6 finished, too, but I am tempted to do it over - after I rendered it for 5 hours I noticed his hands come completely off the doorknob at times, so it may be a couple of days until the next one is done. As for #5, I still think rabbits feet slip -- I tried several stride length measurements - oh well...

Name: Doug Fall
Exercises Completed: #4
Date Completed: May 31, 2005
Instructor: Rodney
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: I've noticed I always have trouble with the arms of these characters - they seem to suddenly bend the exact opposite way you intended... But in the end, the knight does somewhat appear to throwing, though not in too manly of a way...

Well, I see others managed to get him to squat for the fourth pose and look good doing it, I guess it's just me... Maybe I'll go back and try again later...

Exercises Completed: #3
Date Completed: May 30th, 2005
Instructor: Rodney
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: I tried the 4th pose in the book, but not sure the rabbit can bend that far...

Name: Doug Fall
Exercises Completed: #2
Date Completed: May 30, 2005
Instructor: Rodney
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: Why can't a rabbit be taller than a knight in full armor?

Name: Doug Fall
Exercises Completed: #1
Date Completed: May 28, 2005
Instructor: Web Tutorial and Manual
Remarks/Suggestions for Improvement: Yes, yes I see that others have added their own personal touches - I already completed 1 and 2 "by the book", so I'll try harder for the rest...
