Making each UD bone a child of the LR bone sounds great idea!
Anyway, I got an opinion about horns.

Hello,
I sometimes take following way.
Make spline at the opposite side of the object (like the image I posted).
Select both object and start Copy/Flip/Attach command.
Delete spline.

Most text editor has function to search and replace words automatically.
Once you open mdl file, you can see like following.
================================
[bONES]
[sEGMENT]
Name=Right_Bone1
BoneColor=255 0 0 255
Rotate=-0.5 -0.5 -0.5 0.5
Length=10
[ENDSEGMENT]
[ENDBONES]
================================
In this thread's case, you should search 'Right_' and replace to 'Left_'.
And you got following result,
Name=Left_Bone1
right?
If you have hundreds of bones, this function helps you a lot.

Here is my way. I hope this will help you some.
If the model has following bones...
Right_Shoulder
Right_Bicep
Right_Forearm
Right_Hand
Back1
Back2
Back3
Right_Thigh
Right_Shin
Right_Foot
Create new model.
Drag 'Right_Shoulder' and 'Right_Thigh' to new model.
Save new model as 'CopyFlipBone.mdl' in your hard disk.
Open 'CopyFlipBone.mdl' in text editor (Word or something).
Replace all 'Right_' to 'Left_', 'Start=-' to 'Start='.
Save file.
Open file in A:M.
Show properties window.
Bone Position > Rotate > Y:'-abc' to Y:'abc' (Y:'abc' to Y:'-abc')
Bone Position > Rotate > Z:'-abc' to Z:'abc' (Z:'abc' to Z:'-abc')
Drag 'Left_Shoulder' and 'Left_Thigh' to original model.
Fin!

Hello, how are you on holidays? I got trouble... Please help me! V11 alpha 8 doesn't start! I used alpha 8 for days and enjoyed the hair system. And today, I repeated start and quit alpha8, and then it never started again. I tried uninstall and reinstall 5 times. But nothing changed. Reinstalled v10.5o works well. Is there file that should be deleted after uninstalling? Anybody know how to solve this problem? If you tell me the way, I will really appreciate. ---------------------- Takahiro OS:Windows2000

The structure of human ear reminds me of Klein's bottle.
And the shapes work like permanent organization...!
p.s. Don't watch ears too long.
Or you will get 'dazed and confused' by its structure!
