Thanks for your comments. I was entry #9.

 

There are lots of aspects of the rendering I am not happy with. In truth the image was more abandoned than finished (I had used up all my wife's patience with ignoring all other jobs. It really needed lots more tweaking. Sadly, with xmas now coming it looks like my entry for the Heroes contest is going to end the same way !

 

Regarding the paper not sitting flat on the table, I trying to get a feel of paper trying to curl up but did not get the curve adjusted so it read properly.
