I would appreciate some help here, I can not figure out how to make my figure draw a line. I can make her finger follow a path - line, but how do I make that drawn line visible as she makes it?

 

 

I would be very happy if someone could direct me to some information about how to do this.

Thank you Robert for the tip of enable "show more than drivers" in the chor, that was the start that I had missed. Thanks John for the example, that is exactly how I had hoped that I could make my character blush too. But whatever I try to do I can not connect the pose/relationship to the percentage of texture color. I have tried a million times by now, and I must be missing something more.... It is either on or off and not connected to the pose slider.

I would like to make my character blush with an animated small decal on the cheeks. I have made a decal with transparency but I can not make it appear or fade away in an animated scene. I feel I am missing some vital facts here, sure it must be possible to do in some way?

[Computer problem]

I have been working on a model, no hairs but just ordinary patches, and I have now 3034 patches including about 70 5pointers.

 

When is it reasonalbe to encounter problems with the computer, at what amount of patches? I have some modelling to go and I have all sorts of delays and even a black screen from time to time, just in the modelling window. No problems with the rigging or animating in chor.

 

What is your opinon? - is my graphic card too old, a Radeon X1650?

- too little RAM, 2 GB

- all too weak? Or too many patches?

Thanks for looking into my problem, but I have reloaded and reapplied so many times with more or less worse result. I feel so stupid by now....I know it can be done but somehow I fail...

 

Robert it is your tutorial that I have followed, you make excellent tutorials. I skipped the last part about the flaming pear download though, I felt uncertain about what to download and what was free and if I had to make any committments, purchases etc. But I don´t like the halo either -could that be the vital part of all the specks?

I am working on a project of molecules and the figure is supposed to have a C in his forhead. I have made a decal with an alpha channel in photoshop and it looks fine with the progressive render but in final a lot of non desired spots comes up. What have I missed? Happy for any suggestions,
