  1. Hello, been a while, I recently used A:M to build a mockup of a networking proposal for a presentation in my networking protocols class. This was kind of a last minute thing which is why it's so unfinished. I don't really have a use for it since I'm done with that class so I figured I'd let 'yall have it.

    Background info:

I used the models to go transparent to show the placement of the networking cables in the walls, it got a wow out of the class and a "overachiever" comment from a peer.

    total construction time: 4 days.

    machines used: Powermac G5 A:M v15, Xeon PC A:M v14.

    download: Office ~2.1MB

  2. I have been unsessusfull at extracting the models from the Halo PC game and decided it would take to long trying to find out what I was doing wrong, so I started making them myself.

ya, extracting the models from Halo is a pain, but it is doable. I know how to extract characters and some props, but I haven't figured out how to get levels yet.

  3. Thank you very much! this will give me a head start for a project I'm dreaming up. I was searching the web and found a few halo/mod sites, I now know how to pull OBJs out of Halo for my mac. I found the texture maps for MasterC and I can't make heads or tails out of them... I'll figure it out eventually, I guess. Thank you!

  4. I'm sorry for bringing this topic back from the dead, but most of the links here are dead, and I would really appreciate it if I could get the Master Chief model, it doesn't have to be rigged, I need it for reference so I can build my own, I am especially interested in the textures. Thank you!

  5. I quite like that "feature", It comes in handy sometimes as you can select cps that are behind geometry by clicking on the spline that they are on. Bieng able to see if you have the right CP, and then knowing whare to go to klick-drag can be really handy.

A button to turn it on and off would be a good idea I think.

I was hoping a feature similar to the one being discussed would come out soon, a in-between view of wire-frame and shaded. like set all to 50% transparence/shaded view.
