  1. Hey, thats great! He looks like he's got a lot of attitude. (for a berry) That was just a quicky first pass? It would probably take me a good 3 days to even get close to that! Although I am getting better as I figure out the ins and outs of A:M. I'm better at modeling inorganic stuff than organic stuff. (like blueberries).

Thanks for the inspiration. Maybe I can do something with it.

  2. Uh........Frank, may I buy, borrow, steal, or plagiarize your script/concept? Wanna do some storyboards? seriously, I guess I'm not creative enough to come up with a storyline like that. Right now all I'm doing is modeling stuff that I see or can copy that looks easy. I haven't even attempted to animate anything. Guess I'm to easily intimidated. Maybe someday you'll see "The Berry Chronicles" on the big screen!

  3. This is a model I did after seeing this sticker on the back of a SUV window while I was driving. (Digital cameras are great!) My only problem is.... what the heck do I do with it?

    Any suggestions?

  4. Nice. I've read a few of the Tintin comics, but had difficulty finding them when I was younger. Oddly enough though, when I lived in Germany back in the late 70's I had no trouble finding British Editions of Asterix, but could only find Tintin in French and German.

Anyhow, the cover of that Tintin comic would be interesting to replicate in A:M.

And, uh, Ken, when I first read what you wrote I thought it said '... space for the Captain's crotch?' :o Man, I need to get my eyes checked.

Thanks! I was thinking about doing the cover or something similar, but since I'm still pretty new to A:M it may take me quite a while!java script:emoticon(';)')

  5. Oh man! I love Tintin!

Some of my fondest memories as a youngster was discovering those wonderful comics!

Believe it or not they had all of the Tintin comics in my juinor high school library!

Vernon "No, Tintin, not rin tin tin!" Zehr

I only read a few back in grade school, (Destination Moon, Unicorn) but it's funny how much I remembered from then when I was doing research to find the rocket pic. I think there are around 30 or so Tintin books. Could only find 3 in our public library though.

Tintin? Last name ? First name? Only Herge knows!

  6. Blistering Barnicles! That's really nice. Did you leave enough room in the cargo area for the Captain's scotch?

Bashi-Bazouk! There's plenty of room for the Captians scotch, as well as a snootfull for Snowy!

  7. Here is another rocket model I did. It is the rocket from the old Tintin comic books by Hegre. I have to thank John Ashton-Keller(Headless Bill) for the inspiration. Please let me know what you all think.

  8. I was wathcing the Quick Start CD and got to the 5 point patch demo and statred playing around with the basic geometry of the grid with a cylinder and this kind of evolved from that. Would love any comments. Still really havent learned how to texture or apply materials to models yet.

    Thanks,
