Frederick
I am wanting to edit smartskin cp keys like key frames on a timeline, in order to manipulate their position, or delete them as a group that is related to a bone rotation angle. Is this possible?
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 6, 2021 Hash Fellow Share Posted December 6, 2021 Yes. There isn't a timeline for SmartSkin keys but it is possible to step through them so you can edit or delete specific keys...
Frederick
Okay. Thanks. Then I will need to go the long route of multiple clicking to get each key for each cp I guess. And.. I wonder if I am missing something: when I click on a cp in the relation window so I can identify it in the project workspace, it doesn’t select it there.. is this right? When you made the SmartSkin you moved a bone to a particular rotation then moved CPS. All those moved CPS make one key. Quote And.. I don't think that is intended to work like that. You can identify the number of a CP if you turn ON "Show Manipulator Properties" (A CP with two splines running through it will appear to have a number for each spline.) Frederick
In relation to “a key for each cp”, I meant that each cp can have a number of keyed positions if I’ve moved it at say, bone rotation angle 25, 45, 90 degrees of rotation. The cp will have a key at each of those angles, so three.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 7, 2021 Hash Fellow Share Posted December 7, 2021 I think of that as a key for each bone rotation. However, once in Muscle mode the Next and Previous keyframe buttons will accurately step you through them.
